A short advice video by Karol Darsa, Psy.D. explaining how to stop attracting emotionally unavailable partners by identifying your attachment style (anxious, avoidant, secure, disorganized), learning nervous-system regulation and self-soothing, avoiding confusing intensity with connection, and setting clear, written, non‑negotiable boundaries. The speaker recommends working with a therapist or coach, consulting trusted friends, defining deal-breakers, and being willing to walk away rather than chasing love.

How to stop attracting emotionally unavailable partner and start choosing healthier relationships. Well, let's start first with attachment wounds. You have to start by identifying your attachment style. Are you anxious, avoidant, secure, disorganized? And then you can work with that with a therapist, with a coach, or self reflection. Really even just to rewire those patterns? Definitely learn to regulate your nervous system. Watch what your body craves. Is it craving? Chaos? Peace? Can you get into a habit of creating more peace for yourself? Learn self soothing tools and stop confusing intensity with connection. Because healthy connection does not need that kind of intensity and definitely does not need pain. Ask yourself, am I in a roller coaster or am I in a healthy relationship? What am I really looking for? Set clear boundaries and write them down. Talk to your friends who really know you and care about you and then can guide you clearly rather than creating and changing the boundaries. So setting into non negotiable boundaries are very very important. Don't make don't question your worth. When you raise your standards and emotion unavailable people will definitely go away. So watch to see what are your deal breakers, what can you live with and what can you not? And the last but not least, be willing to walk away. The biggest shi shift really happens when you you. You stop chasing love because it should be just given to you.
