Discover 'Why' You Were Born with Gary Sanchez

Gary Sanchez, founder of the Y Institute, created the YOS discovery, an online quiz that identifies your why, how, and what. He claims knowing your why increases energy, clarifies direction, and reduces self-destructive behaviors. Sanchez went from dentist to building this system around nine archetypal whys.

All right, my friends, welcome back. Welcome back to the I was born to do this podcast. I am really excited because the guest that we have on the show today is Fire. His energy is so amazing. I was lucky to be on his a podcast. A week and a half, two weeks ago, we had an amazing conversation. I said, you must come on mine, because what he's going to teach you today is going to help you learn what you were born to do. So not only is he going to share with us what he's here to do in the world, but he's going to teach you a formula and a way for you to figure that out for you. So this might be one of the most important episodes that we have had because you are going to walk away with some new seeds. So let me introduce Gary Sanchez. Thank you for being here, Gary.
Sarah, thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here. This is going to be fun. It's casual and fun, right?
That's how I do it. We just drop in. Nothing is ever planned. We just bring through whatever needs to come through. So I want to ask you, why don't you tell everyone who you are and what is it that you've created in the world?
Okay. So I am the founder of a company called the Y Institute. So years ago, 14 years. Well, I was a dentist for 30 years, and I was always trying to figure out, how do I stand out in this crowded marketplace at dentistry? Because there's 600 dentists here in Albuquerque, where I live. And I was always told that if you just do a great job, build a great product, people will come. And I tried that for 20 years. I reached the highest levels you could go to. I built a beautiful practice. All the technology, all the stuff, and I still blended in with everybody else who said, yeah, I'm a dentist, too, right? So if you talk about what you do, you blend in with everybody who does what you do. And it drove me crazy. And that's when I heard about that concept of why. Starting everything with your why. And once I heard that, I was like, that's what I'm missing, Kara. I've got a great what, but I don't know my why. And I became obsessed with that. I called Simon Sinek, who developed a golden circle concept. We've all probably seen his TED talk. 61 million people have seen it. And he and I worked together for about eight months trying to help me figure out my why. And when I finally figured it out, that my why is to find a better way and share It. That's when my life started to make so much sense to me. Find a better way and share. That's what I've done my entire life. That's what I do everywhere I go. And so in my practice, I stopped talking about what we do. Crowns, bridges, fillings, complete gunker, all that stuff, and started talking about why we do what we do and what we believe. And that's when my practice really took off, and that was in 2010. So every year from 2010 on, we've done better and better and better. And abundance is a heck of a lot more fun than just getting by. And that's when I started getting calls from other dentists saying, can you help me do what you did? And I had to figure out a way to help people find their why, just like I had. So I went back and figured out what Simon was trying to do, and I made it better. So instead of taking 10 months to discover your why, I could help you in about an hour. And I did this for thousands of people for free. And I started to notice patterns and trends and similarities and. And figured out that there's only nine different whys. Nine different whys. That was the most important thing that I figured out. And once I did that, I was able to develop the algorithm, write the software, get the data to where I could help people discover their why in about five minutes using software online. And that seems impossible to do, but I gave it away to hundreds of thousands of people to test it. And then recently, a couple years back, I launched the YOS discovery, which finds your why, your why operating system. It finds your why, your how, and your what, and creates your message for you in about eight minutes. And so, Kara, I've done more why discoveries than anybody in the world, and I was only about 70% accurate. The YOS discovery is 100% accurate. It works every time. And why that's so important, what we can get into is because it answers the question, what were you born to do? Why are you here? Why do you do what you do? Why do you operate the way you operate? Why do you make the decisions you make? Why do you connect with some people and not others? Why do you have passion for some things and not others? It. It answers all of those questions for you. So in my case, why am I here? What was I born to do? I was born to find better ways to do things and share them with the world. And the sooner I. Once I realized that, oh, my gosh, what a. What a relief. What a release, What a great Feeling to actually have an answer. And we can talk about you too, because you've been through it. So you know. Right.
Yeah, I love it. I really, you know, I met you at a genius network and there was this immediate spark, like, oh, I need to know this guy. It took us a while to, you know, connect because our lives are wild. But when you put. You had me take the. What do you call it? The YOS quiz.
What do you call.
All right, so you had me take the YOS discovery, which was like very simple. I, I knew all the answers, you know, as I think anyone would like you would know your own distinct answers. And when you gave me my why, like, this is who you are. Does this sound like you? I was like, holy shit, you just nailed who I was. One sentence. It was amazing. And also like so damn liberating, like, ah, this is who I am. This isn't like some weird contraption things I'm trying to do, like, no, I was born to actually be this. And. And that's why I'm so lit up about what you've created. Because I think that it is a shortcut where people define their deepest purpose.
That's exactly right. It's forever man has been asking that question. Why am I here? Why do I do what I do? What direction should I go? How do I find my passion? How do I help my kids find their passion? How do I make decisions? How do I know anything? Right? It's so hard that in essence, Kiara was my story. Because back in high school, think back to high school and your parents, friends would come over and say, so, Kiara, what are you going to do with your life? I don't know. How am I supposed to know that? Where are you going to go to college if you're going to go? Well, I don't. I don't know. How do I decide that? How do I decide on a major? How do I figure out what to do with all these possibilities? How do I figure it out? I had no idea how to figure it out. I just lived life by default. I took the path of least resistance. Right. I went to college, where my buddies went. I knew I was going to have a good time. And then I majored in the thing. I was getting a good grade in biology. And then I picked a dentistry because I didn't know what else to pick. And my dad was a dentist. Yeah, luckily I enjoyed it. But was it what I was supposed to do with my life? That's a tough question. I don't know, did it give me If I were to have. If I had to answer that, I would say, no, that's not the direction I should have gone. But what happens to most of us is we pick something, get invested into it. Eight years of college start, and then we start accumulating things how a car, houses, spouses, kids, all that stuff. And then we're stuck. Can't get out, can't quit, can't leave.
Yeah.
Until everything grows up and moves on. And then, okay, now I can finally focus on me. But if I'd have known this when I was my teens, 20s, even 30s, you know, what. What could I have done? What direction could you go if you knew? What could you accomplish if you knew? And that's why my. You know, my mission is really to help people discover who they are by knowing their why, their how, their what. There's a better way. There's a better way than trial and error.
Yeah.
There's a better way than just picking something and hoping. Right. Smoking hopium. I sure hope I picked the right thing.
Yeah.
Yeah. Now you have a way to actually do it. So can we talk about you as well?
Yeah, I would love to hear. I can't remember the name. Challenge. Is that what mine is called?
Yes, you are Challenge. And so your why is to challenge the status quo. How you do that is by making sense of the complex and challenging. And ultimately, what you bring is a better way. So Kiara does not want to follow the rules, doesn't want to draw inside the lines, doesn't want to follow the recipe, is not going to do it the same as everybody else, doesn't want. Traditional, typical, same old, same old. And if you have spent enough time listening to her, which you probably have, you know that or with her, then you definitely know it. Right?
Yeah. Yeah. And when you read that to me, I was like, oh, my gosh. Because everything I've built, like, I have built publishing to be completely different than any publishing house in the world. Like, we do everything differently. And I would say we do everything better. And that is, like, how I help people write books. Everything is different. We don't follow any of the rules that anyone follows. Everything I do is like, no, I will do this differently and better. And when you said that to me, it. It was like a relief. Like, oh, that is who I am. And that's like the gift I give to the world. So what I find is that if people go through this with you, they go through this with you, whether they don't have to actually work with you. They can just go through the discovery questions. Yeah, one, it might shortcut. Like it took me a lot of trial and error to find this, which is here and now. And your discovery just totally, you know, stamped it for me. But you know, if I can give this to my 16 year old, be like, hey, which guarantee, I bet he's a challenge as well. Guaranteed he's the same personality as me, is that I'll be like you. Look at it, this is what you're here to do. You are here to challenge every teacher. Like, no wonder you've challenged your teachers because this is who you are. Like, no wonder you want to do things differently because this is who you are. And now it takes the shame out.
Yes.
And it celebrates. It celebrates who you are. That's what I love what you've done.
Yeah. And you choose it, right? You did not choose it.
No, I did not.
It's just the way it is. And the sooner you know what your superpower is, that's when you can use it in your life. And particularly with the why of challenge that you have. Because you're outside the box, right. You don't want to be in the box. But that can be a scary place. And as somebody that's young, it can lead you in some pretty crazy directions that you have to somehow figure your way out. But if you knew that. Well, let me tell you a story. I was getting. I was going to a genius network meeting. I was in Arizona and I was meeting with this group that works with Pitbull to work with the Gen Z's. And so we were meeting at, in Scottsdale at the Breakfast Club restaurant, if you've been there. And so I, it was raining that day, of all things in Scottsdale. So they were a little bit late. And there, well, I was waiting for them. And at the table next to me were these two young girls. And so I turned over to them, I said, what, what generation are you? They said, oh, we're Gen Z's. And I said, well, what's the biggest challenge that Gen Zers have? And they said, well, it's mental health. And I said, okay, well what does that mean? What are we talking? What is mental health? They said, well, we spend so much time on our phone comparing ourselves to everybody else that we can't ever measure up. And it really brings us down. And I said, well then how do you make a decision? How do you figure out who you are and where you want to go? And they said, well, it's just we go with the feeling, how we feel. And I Said, how's that working out for you? I said, not very well. And I said, okay. I told him about who I was meeting and I said, I developed this thing called the why discovery. And I said, let me give it to you right now while you're having breakfast. Discover your why, how, and what, and then when you're done, come talk to us. And so they showed the guy the. I met two guys in this gal, and the one guy is this big white guy with muscly guy with tattoos all over him, and his wife has hair like you and really muscly as well. They're bodybuilders, fitness fanatics and coaches. And the other gentleman was from England and he was kind of their business person. But anyway, so we sit down, we're eating. I look over at the table and I could tell on my phone that one of the gals had discovered her why. So one of them was a real thin black gal with a furry hat, and the other one was kind of a heavy or Hispanic gal, real pleasant face, pleasant, pleasant looking gal. And so they had discovered their why. And I went over and talked to him. I said, hey, I see that you've discovered your why. And I was talking to the kind of heavier set Hispanic gal, and I said, it came up as the why of challenge. And I said, how did that feel to you? And she said, that is me to a T. That is exactly how I think. And I said, do you feel like you're kind of muting yourself? Do you feel like you're hiding right now? And I could see her eyes started to tear up, and she said, yeah, I do. People don't get me. People don't understand me. And so they. I kind of feel like I have to hide myself in order to. To be in this world. And I say, you see that big white guy over there with the tattoos all over him? I said, he has your why as well. Can I go grab him and have him come talk to you? She said, sure. So I went and got him and. And he sat down with her and they had this incredible conversation because he said he could see himself in her. And when he came back to our table, he was just like bawling. And he said, I cannot believe the conversation I just had with her. He said, she is me. I know exactly what she was going through. I know that I could help her. And I said, how long would that have taken you to have created that kind of a relationship with her if you didn't know her? Why? And he said, months, if ever. Yeah, he said, in that moment we had this connection. And I know that I'm the right person to work with her. And so it's going to be so wonderful for her to have a mentor think of you to had a mentor who thinks like you do.
Yeah.
How that would have helped you, what decisions you might have made or not made or, you know, where you would be today if you would have known.
Well, yeah, I mean, it would have been so much easier, right? It really would have. But one thing I noticed that when you told me that a lot of people who have the, the why of a challenge, which is mine, also struggled with suicide ideation. And that was really healing for me because that, you know, everyone knows that's something that I battled with. No longer do I have to battle that, but I did for most, the majority of my life. And I find it interesting that those of us who can't fit inside a box, those of us who are, I have no shape. Like, don't you dare put a shape on me. If anybody put me in a shape or put me in a box, it becomes a death sentence, which means I just want to die. And when I was able to release the boxes of my life, the suicide ideation left and no longer have it. Because when I am placed in a box, when I am told to be a certain shape, when I am told to not be the fire lava that I am, it's a death sentence. Which is why I think if we could spread this message to even just those who are the challenge, like, hey, if you struggle with suicide ideation, it's time for you to let yourself leave the boxes that humanity has put on you and be the unicorn that you were meant to be. They would not have to die.
It's powerful. Exactly what you, you know, maybe you can share a little bit about because you were put in a box, right? People keep trying to put you in a box. And when you're not able to live what you were meant to be, why you were here then why are you here right then, that happened to me as well. When I was in my dental practice, I practiced with my brother. And his why is to do things the right way. Structure process systems, creating, you know, creating the box, creating a really good box that worked, and we had a really great box that worked. But I could not be there. By the time I finally sold my practice three years ago, for the last five years, I couldn't be there. I couldn't function. I didn't want to be there, but I had to be there. So It's a. It's a challenge. Like. Like if you're in a confining marriage, well, you kind of have to be there at least while you're in the marriage, but you're not able to be you.
Yeah. Yeah.
And that can take its toll.
Yeah. And I bet a lot of people with challenge have experienced that. And. And that's the power of learning your why is. Is to really get clear on, like.
Oh.
Is a freedom to understand who you are and what you. And I would say. I don't know if you would say this, but you must have been divinely guided on how to do this, because to be able to have the right questions that receive, like, boom, that's my why. I mean, that is so. It's so outside of this world. It's so outside of the norm and the world and anything I've ever seen. So I just, like, really acknowledge you for being the seeker that you are. That you just. You. You went and spent however many months with Simon Sinek like, that you were like, I'm determined to figure this out. It is people like you that create systems that change people's lives. So I just, like, honor you because it could have been easy for you to just even find your why. And then, like, cool, that was awesome. I found my why. But no, you then created a system that helps people do it so quickly. How do people do. I don't. I meant to ask you, how do people get access to it?
Well, if you go to yinstitute.com it'll be right there for you. So just go to yinstitute.com and there's a why discovery that just finds your why. And there's a yos discovery that finds your why, how and what. I would just take the yos discovery because you're going to do. Once you do the first one, you're going to want to do the second one. I would just do the second one because it'll give you all the stuff that you're doing you're looking for. But I. I do want to address what you just said there because I often wonder that myself. I always, I think now, why me? Why did I do this? Why am I the one that's tasked with this? Why is this now on my plate to bring to the world that the nev. I never expected that I didn't find my own why. To say, hey, I think I'll make a company around this had nothing to do with it. But what. What it did do. Okay, this is really important for everybody that's listening. If what you choose to do with your life is in line with your why, how, and what you will have passion for what you do. So if you are trying to find your passion or help someone find their passion, if what they do is in line with their yoshi, they will love what they do. They will have passion for what they do. And passion is the fuel that gives you the energy to pursue your dreams. Without passion, you'll give up, you'll quit, you'll stop with passion. You'll do it with unlimited energy. So once I found a better way to help people understand themselves, I had unlimited energy for wasn't like, I wasn't busy. I had a very busy dental practice and I was coaching two soccer teams, both my daughters. And I was married and I had so many things going on, yet I still worked with thousands of people for free. Anyone who would let me, I would help them discover their why. If you're sitting next to me on an airplane, you're going to get your why discovered. If you. If you're in my so remember, I'm a dentist. So while we're getting. You're getting numb, I'm going to help you discover your why.
You're the dentist to come too. I like this.
Yeah. And. And so what the reason I'm pointing that out is once you figure out, like you're another example, once you were let outside your box, what have you been able to accomplish in a very, very short period of time?
Oh, man, so much. I mean, my income, as I would say, probably almost. We've almost hit 10x. I mean, like, really, it's. It's wild what has happened with my income. But the. My business model shifted completely. Completely. I now travel two weeks out of the month, taking authors around the world. I just had someone sign up yesterday. I'm taking her in January to Cancun to write her book. Because why the hell not, right? Like, yes, choose where you want to go. Let's. Let's do this. Everything has become so much more delicious. But if I were to say the greatest thing is to not have to fight to live.
Yep.
Like, the greatest gift for me is that every day I don't have to choose to live anymore. Because it's not even a thing. And for most of my life, I had to choose every day to live. And that is the biggest gift.
You're not only okay, you're amazing. And your why. So when you see your why, here's another really important thing, especially for the why of challenge. If you see Your why as a curse, then you medicate and do stuff to get away from yourself. But when you get to see it as a gift, there's nothing you can't do. Nothing you can't do. It's. It's. And it is a gift, but it's just. And that's what I was telling that gal in the. The young gal in the. In the restaurant that morning. I said, right now you're seeing your. Your why as a curse, right? And she said, and she's eating herself. She was about 60, 40 to 60 pounds overweight. She's eating herself into being able to blend in versus seeing it as a gift. Like the gentleman that I introduced her to sees it. And when it's a gift, there's nothing she won't be able to do. And that's what I was talking to her about. I said, man, when you switch this around to being a gift for you, you are going to do some incredible things in this world. Incredible things with your life. And that's when he came over and kind of said the same thing. He said, when I was her age, I was really on a bad path trying, you know, doing some things that I wanted to get away from myself.
Yep.
But now.
So interesting, because here's the. Here's what I see is. I mean, I used to be 50 pounds heavier because I just ate. I ate my way through my pain. Like, why. You know, there was always this, like, when religion broke for me, I spent years being like, why can't I just fit here? Like, why. Why don't I fit here? Why? I just want to be like everyone else, and I just want to come, and I want to love it, and I want to fit. And. And then it was like. Then my gift started to show up as a medium, and then I was like, why can't I just be like everyone else? Why am I talking to dead people all day? Like, what's wrong with me? Why am I the weirdest person ever? You know? And. And now I just celebrate the hell out of, like, all of these things. Like, it is a gift that I don't fit anywhere because that means I change the world. And you're taking. Your discovery was such a huge piece in me seeing that of like, oh, I'm not meant to fit. And. And that was a relief. It was such a relief. And I love that in your. In your gifts that you make a better way. You have made a better way for humanity with this.
That's why I sold my practice. I could have wrote it out I could have. I was, you know, working three days a week, making great money. I could have just wrote it out, actually. What. What happened, Kiara, was I went to this thing called Zazobra in Santa Fe. Zobra is kind of like a Burning man thing, but not. Not, you know, as much drugs and stuff. It's more of, like an event. And I was ate and drank a little too much and woke up with a headache the next day. And so I took a couple Advil, went to bed. No big deal. Done that before, but one of the Advil didn't dissolve, and it lodged in my GI tract and it burnt a hole right where there was an artery, and it just started bleeding internally, and I didn't know it. And I got home and I even went and worked out. I just wasn't feeling very good. And then I started throwing up blood, and blood started coming out everywhere. And so I ended up going to the ER and they made me wait so long, I waited 11 hours. By the time they finally admitted me, my blood pressure was 60 over 30 and I'd lost half of my blood. And so finally, when I get into a admitted and I'm in a room, I. I get up to use a restroom, because blood in your GI tract acts like a laxative, so you have to go to the restroom all the time. So as soon as I got into the bathroom, I locked the door behind me because I wasn't in a private room. And I passed out and I hit my face on the sink and I ended up laying on the floor, blood coming out everywhere. And I luckily woke up because if I hadn't woke up, I wouldn't be here. And I pushed the door open and then I passed out. And the next thing I know, I wake up and on top of the bed and all my clothes are cut off and I have the two pads on me, and they'd revive me and sent me into surgery to try to get to the. The g. The bleed. And they couldn't get to it, so they just decided to wait. And then they went and did a CAT scan to see if I'd stop bleeding. And when they pumped all the. The dye into my arm, they blew out my arm. And so my arm starts filling up with blood clots and they start growing into my lungs, and I'm bleeding in my GI tract and I bleed blood clots growing into my lungs. And the doctor comes in and says, look, we have to treat those blood clots or you're going to die. If they get into your lungs, he Says, but if we treat the blood clots, we can't stop the bleed because we can't get to the bleed. And I said, well, then what are we going to do? And he says, I don't know. I said, that's not a good enough answer. Luckily, my phone rang right then, and it was a buddy of mine who's a cardiologist in the hospital. And he said, hey, Gary, I was looking through the names today and I saw that you were in here, and I don't like what they're going to do. And he said, I'm going to. I'm going to take over. So I was in the ICU for nine days. Obviously I survived because I'm here. But what happened is I finally had to go to bed one evening with IV of heparin to stop the blood clots and hope I didn't bleed. But when it all was said and done, I mean, I went through. A lot of crazy stuff happens in there. If you've ever been in the hospital for a length of time, a lot of crazy stuff happens to you. But when I got out, I had one of my patients, he was in his middle 80s. He said to me, gary, you have a second chance here. And he said, when you get to be 80 years old and you look back on your life, are you going to wish that you had taken the Yos to the world? Are you going to be glad that you stayed a dentist? I said, I'm going to wish that I took the Yos to the world. He says, well, then I think you need know what you need to do. And that's when I got out. That's when I said, okay, this is what I got to do. So knowing your why Os, does it make life easier? It can. It can. Can it make life more challenging? Yes, it can, because you'll know what you need to do. But will it make it much more of an adventure and much more fun and much more worth doing? 100%. So what does a dentist know about bringing software to help people figure out their who they are to the world? What do I know about that? Nothing. Nothing. So it's been an amazing journey the last few years, and I've made a ton of mistakes and I've done a ton of things wrong, but I can tell you I've had unlimited energy for it. And where we are now is, you know, take. It's going all over the world. Never did I imagine that's what was going to happen. Never did I know I would meet somebody like you. No idea. I mean, this is. Was never in my plan in any way. But living your why, how, and what will put you on a path of unlimited energy for what you were meant to do. And that's what it's done for me.
Oh, my gosh. I did not know that story. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah.
Crazy. Crazy. Wow.
And what a beautiful rebirth.
Yep.
Really. And.
And again, you know what? I don't. What we don't want to do is get to the end of our life and have those regrets. Right. Of what I could have done, what I should have done, what I didn't do.
Yeah.
And I was headed that way, you know, just. Yeah. I was making great money. Okay. Wonderful. Yeah. I only work three days a week. Wonderful.
Yeah.
But at a certain stage, that's not enough. That's not what it's all about. And now I have conversations like what we have here.
Yeah.
Every day. And it's amazing. I mean, every single day, I get to have these conversations.
Yeah.
And nothing's better. Nothing's better for me than showing somebody a better way to know who they are. Nothing is better for you than to get people to think outside their box, push the limits, imagine things they never have been able to do. Help them make sense out of that and show them a better way. Nothing could be better for you. Right. It's what you love to do.
This is my favorite thing. So interesting is my favorite thing. I did an Instagram story. Well, today is Thursday, so I did it on Tuesday. I saw, like, nine clients back to back on Tuesday. And at the end of the day, I was filled with energy, and I made a story like, I work for nine hours with authors today. I should be exhausted. I'm not. I am energized. Because when you do what you are here to do, it pumps you with so much energy. So you saying this is just. It's just a witness when you're. When you're doing what you're here to do. Exhaustion, depression, like, it has no place in you because you are lit up.
Let me add something to that. When you're doing what you're meant to do is a statement that has amazing power, but also amazing fear. And what I mean by that is it's like telling your kid, go find your passion. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. It's a great thing to tell them to do. Hey, great, Mom. Go find my passion. Okay, great. Well, like, how do I do that? Yeah, well, you just go find it. Just, like, go find it. Like. Well, thanks, Mom. Appreciate that.
Yeah. Yeah. Good plan. Good plan.
Good plan, mom. Thanks.
Yeah.
So do what you were meant to do. Can be that same way.
Yeah.
But if you help them discover their yos first, be very easy. Very easy. So if you tell me that and I have no way to figure it out, it adds another thing on my plate that I can't do. And how is that going to make me feel?
Yeah, it's actually going to be worse. So, one, I've got to get this to all my kids, but everybody listening. I'll have the link in the show notes. Just say. Say it again what the website is.
Go to y. Wh. Y.institute.com. why? Institute.com.
Yeah.
And then you'll see it right there. Discover your. I would just discover your YOS. It's 97. That's nothing. To figure out who you are.
Shortcut your shortcut. That path. Are you kidding me? The. The hundreds of thousands of dollars I spent on coaching and programs and. And therapy and all the things. Right. 97 is like nothing and it's so damn fast and it's so accurate and it's fun.
Yeah.
It's a fun thing to find out. Right. So everyone go do that. Go do that today. What I want to have you. Yeah.
Let me add one more thing to that. What it's going to do for you is give you the words to clearly articulate what makes you special. So you can figure out how to do what you were meant to do.
Yeah.
So you can figure out what your passion is. So you can figure out where you fit and when you have that, oh, my gosh, it's just life changing for you. Life changing. It'll. It'll make it doable. You don't. You don't need another concept that you can't do anything with. Right. You don't need something else to just piss you off. Just say, yeah, that sounds wonderful, but that's for everybody else. This will be for you to be able to do it.
Oh, I love it. Gary, I love you. I love your energy. I'm so grateful our paths have crossed. I love to ask my guests as we end, if you could just close your eyes, get into your heart. What's one message that you could give to these listeners today that you want to leave them with?
I would say we're all fearful. We're all. When you don't know, you end up paralyzed. You know, you don't know what the next step is. So you can't steer. I guess what I would say is you can't steer a Parked car. Right. You got to get the car moving in order to steer it. So in order to get moving, you need to know what is my first step?
Yeah.
What's the first thing I need to do? There's so many options out there, so many possible. What's the first thing I should do? That's all you need to know, is what's my first and next step. And if you discover your yos, man, you're going to get that car moving fast, and you're going to be able to steer it right where you want to go. But take that first step.
Yeah.
Don't wait any longer. Don't spend all this drama and trauma trying to figure everything out. Just take the first step, and then you'll know what the next step is. Then take the next step and. And you'll know what the next step is. And it. It's just that simple. Let's not over complicate it. So my why is to find a better way and share it. How I do that is by making things clear and understandable. But ultimately what I bring are simple solutions. So it's going to be simple for you to do, not going to be over complicated. It's got to be better clear and simple or I don't want it. So the yos discovery is going to be better, clear and simple way for you to figure out who you are, give you the words to say it, and figure out where you're going to find your passion and live what you were meant to do.
Hell yes to this. Gary, thank you. Thank you for being on the show today.
Thank you for having me. This is, as you can tell, I love talking about it because. And I love doing it even more.
Yeah, I can feel that. Well, as we close, I just want to thank everyone for being here. And I like to end with a message. Let me see. The message I want to leave everyone with is that you are unique, and you do have a very unique purpose for you. And as you wake up to it, find it, hear it, see it, it will unveil your gifts and open up pathways you never even imagined. There we go. All right, well, I will talk to you all on the next episode. And Gary, I hope you have the most beautiful day.
Thank you.
