Kristin Merwin shares her experience about being in The Awaken Mastermind

Kristin Merwin describes how the Awaken Mastermind shifted her understanding of herself as a woman and artist. She learned concrete tools for self-nourishment, stopped hustling and started aligning with her creativity, and found support through weekly calls, a White Mountains retreat, and her cohort.

There's so many valuable things that I gained through the Awakened Mastermind. But I would say that at the very top was understanding at a very deep level who I am as a woman, as an artist and creator. I used to think that the applause from others and the feedback and perspective reflected to me regarding what I was putting out there determined the value. And I now know that it doesn't matter if people get it. It doesn't matter what their perception is. That I know at the core of myself that I'm doing what I'm called to do, and the rest will work out. I cannot thank Kara enough. The personal shift that I had within the Mastermind was. Was significant, and it was almost immediate. I've never had anyone like Kira give me so many tools to nourish myself. And I realized so many things about myself, why I wasn't in the creative mode, and what it was that was blocking me from being creative and bringing all of these things forward. And so, through Kiara's help, she really taught me to just center myself and how to align instead of hustling. You know, I would see Kira's work for months before I joined the Mastermind, and I knew she had a secret. Because you don't have five children and a podcast and a jewelry line and a mastermind and run all of the businesses that she runs without understanding something at a deep level in how to align and bring your gifts forward. I knew that she knew something that I didn't know, and I needed to find out what that was. So through the Mastermind, I mean, she. She held nothing back. She gave us all of her tools, and that's been the biggest growth factor for me is learning who I am at a deeper level, how to nourish myself, and that the very best thing that I can do for my family and really for the world is to nourish myself first. And it all comes through the cup that's running over. It's true. The Awaken Mastermind Retreat. Still, I have the most amazing memories with these women. I was a little bit nervous going in. I think that not all of us had even met at that point. But Kira is so gifted at making everyone feel known and welcome. She facilitated one of the best women's retreats I've ever been experienced, and I've been to a lot. The White Mountains were absolutely gorgeous. And it was. It was just a sacred time in learning her tools and how to manage the emotions that we were going to probably experience in the six months together, as well as just the nourishment and all of the other tools that she brings to, to the women in her mastermind. I use all of them still today. And she held nothing back. She gave it to us all. And I'm so deeply grateful for the time that I got to spend at the retreat. Oh, these women that were in the awakened Mastermind. It's hard to put into words everything that I learned from being a part of these women who are leaders and artists. You know, you think that you're going to learn so much from them through their successes because they had so many. But I learned so much through a lot of the heartbreak and discouragements too. I mean we, in six months together, we just. Just experienced a lot of different, different emotions and different experiences, especially with everything going on in the world today. And I learned that I'm not alone in my overwhelm. I think that I used to feel it like it was just me that would be really excited at first and be all gung ho and ready to move. And then these self doubts would creep in and these self sabotage and all of these things would. And it would just kind of deflate me. And these weekly calls kept me accountable and not only kept me accountable, but fueled my fire, I guess, to keep moving forward. And everyone was so authentic and so open with not only their feedback, but also what was happening within their own worlds that the weekly call became something that I could not wait to be a part of every week.
