Happy Monday, friends. I love sharing the beautiful books that we publish over here at Freedom House Publishing Company. And today I'm sharing with you one of the books from the amazing Susan K. Manning. I was so lucky to coach her in my mentorship program. She has written this book. Now, as you can tell, this is the proof copy. I have her real copy out with my photographer getting some beautiful shots of this book. But I really wanted to talk about this book today because she has two. Two more books coming out soon. And I want to highlight her episode on the Awakened podcast. This. This episode was probably one of the episodes I cried the most in as the host. Her words just went in and tapped this. This well of love inside of me. And I'm just so honored that we were able to help her bring this book to life. I'm so excited for her next books coming out, and I thought I would read to you one of her poems. So it's my belief that everyone who reads this book will find a poem that actually speaks to them. Like, they'll find themselves in her poetry. And I think that a lot of people can relate to this one. So I want to have you to listen. All right. An angel stood before me. I could not see her wings. She curled in bed and hid herself for fear of something dread, it was unknown. This fear, this fright. What if it didn't exist? What if darkness kept luring her? The light her only hope? An angel stood before me. I could not see her wings. Rise up, my dear, and feel the dawn. The light that surely comes. He meets you there, never leaves you there. He will always cheer you home. Throw off the covers and ask for the light. Your faith will help you stand. Your trust will guide and sustain you in any passing night. An angel stood before me. I could not see her wings. Hope burns in the sun and shines in the moon. In every glimmer of rain. Faith in one we cannot see, but steadfast, there he stands. Reach up and he will pull you forth, your vibrance to behold. And angel stood before me. I could not see her wings. A mirrored face, a familiar line. This brilliant angel standing whose face was only mine. So beautiful, Susan. Such an honor to help you bring this book to the world. And to every one of you watching, I'm going to invite you to go grab this on Amazon because you will fall in love with it. Every poem is just filled with so much light, and it touches your heart in a way that just normal words don't. There's something about poetry that does create a shift in our being. And so I'm just celebrating you, Susan, for writing this book, for publishing this book. And I'm so excited about the next book book that is on its way. And if you who are watching right now have a book inside of you, I invite you to DM me. I would love to help you either learn how to receive and write this book, or if you've already written your book, I'd love to help you publish it and bring it to the world. So I will talk to you soon and I hope your day is full of light and magic.
