A short monologue by Laurin (from The Awaken Podcast #116) reflecting on current societal resistance to change, polarization between fear-driven people and "lightworkers," and a sense of a tipping point or "quickening" toward greater collective enlightenment. Laurin notes an increase in healers and lightworkers (primarily women, with more young men) and emphasizes maintaining a "high vibration" to avoid being drawn into fear.

We're getting a lot of resistance to change in the world right now. But the resistance is. It's like the storm before the sun comes out, right? It's that push back for, let's maintain what's not working. And then, yeah, as more people bring the light in, it's going to balance us out. We're working on it. We're getting closer. I mean, if you look at the world, it is a very polarizing world where you do have these very people who are covered in fear, and then there's people like you and me who are doing the work of the Light. I can't tell you how many people are coming out of the woodwork as healers, as all kinds of lightworkers right now, primarily women, but I'm seeing more and more young men. So that's kind of cool. It is hard right now because it does go back and forth between these two extremes. But I believe part of this quickening is we've hit a tipping point. And it's almost like an exponential curve that we finally. On the really sharp side of the rise of that. And I feel it, and I've finally gotten where I can see the other part without getting sucked into it. But I have to stay at a very high vibration to do that.
