Turn Tragedy Into Hope: A Beacon of Light for Those Touched by Suicide | Melissa Methven

Melissa Methven completed her manuscript The Truth Behind the Smiles during a five-day writing retreat after her husband died by suicide in March 2022. The book addresses suppression, suicide awareness, and breaking generational silence about mental health, aimed at people coping with suicidal ideation, survivors of loss, and those who suppress emotions.

Hello, my friends. I'm so excited. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the I was born to do this podcast. We have an amazing guest on the show today and I'm actually snuggled with her right here on a couch. We're in our Airbnb in Mill Valley, California and Melissa just wrote her book in five days. I did, yeah. So this is Melissa Methven. I adore her. She is one of our JOA authors and she chose to do my five day author adventure. We chose this place in Mill Valley. We had no idea how magical it would be and it ended up being like this extraordinary home. But it was a tree house and it's literally like up above the trees and we have been able to sit with these ceiling to floor windows as we've written her book in these last five days. And it has been extraordinary. So Melissa, why don't you take a. Take a second and just talk to us about why you decided to do a five day adventure.
No. Well, that's easy because I chose a five day because my life as a single mom with my 7 year old and 10 year old, my life is so busy. Between work, they get home from school and work, homework, feeding them and sports. I just don't have time. Yeah, I just don't make the time. I. And I just knew that this would be the only way I'd get it done. And I knew how important this message was and I wanted it done fast. Yeah. And when I saw what you were able to provide as a publisher, I said, okay, I'm signing up. This is the way I'm going to get out this book out.
And that's what I love. I love that it allows us to be able to two things, get the book done quickly, which otherwise it's going to take people, it takes people years to write a book because it's simply just because they don't have time but to like dedicate five full days. But then also the urgency of your message. We don't have years. Yeah, like this book is so urgent. So why don't you tell everyone who's listening what your book is about?
My book is about suppression. So how I've suppressed since a young girl my emotions and I. And my voice, I've suppressed my voice and I, it paralyzed me. It parallels me in every step of the way. And I, I felt stuck. So a lot of it is addressing people that feel stuck and have been suppressing for years and also living in darkness. My husband died by suicide in March of 2022. It's only been 21 months. But ever since he died, I felt this urge that God was calling me to use my voice. And. And I use the word suicide is in everything. Friends would call and say, how. How did he die? Said die by suicide. And many were shocked. And so I knew my purpose was to have a voice for suicide awareness and for my children. I'm writing this book for my children. I want them to reread it, reread it because I am trying to change the general generations lineage because my husband, on both side of the family died by suicide. And now, as we know, it, can skip generations. And that trauma stays in unless I stand up and do the work. And since then, I've propelled in all the healing modalities. And it wasn't just one thing. I've done counseling. I've done breath work, cold, plunging, tapping. I've. Writing. Writing has been the huge release this week. The release of the day, the day my husband passed. Now this has been my major struggle. And I've replayed this story over and over, and I actually thought I had written it already. And I realized I had, had not. So yesterday, writing it all out that day, minute per minute, what happened? And it was that release. It was that release that I really needed. So writing is very therapeutic.
Well, this is beautiful. I'm going to snuggle in here because I think this is. This is a conversation on so many levels that we're talking here. We're talking about suppression. And what I love about your book is that you begin with that topic. You don't begin with your husband's passing, you begin with suppression. And. And the more and more we've talked about suppression, this week is like, that's. That's a huge contributor to people wanting to leave by suicide is because of the suppression. So it all ties so beautifully together. And I want to. I want to pinpoint that what you've done this week has the absolute opposite of suppression.
Yes.
Right. Like, yes. The speaking, the writing and letting it all out is like. It's like taking the. The lid off of the teapot. Right. It's like finally it all gets to release. How has that felt for you?
Oh, that felt liberating.
Yeah.
Cleansing. And I feel more at peace. I'm going to go home feeling so much more at peace.
Yeah.
And not this. And I'll be able to move forward. And what's the next step? It's getting this book out and helping others that have dealt with suppression and how to clean. Cleanse it out. Yeah.
This is, this book is I love this book because it's not just for someone who's struggling with suicide ideation. It's for all humans because everyone suppresses. Oh, yes, we're taught to suppress. We're taught to hold back our tears and keep in our anger and look good and please others and. And that's what leads to. We're going to talk about it today in the podcast of what you say in the book is that your suppression actually led to health issues for you. And so this book is for everyone, but especially those who struggle with suicide ideation, those who have lost a loved one by suicide, those who struggle with addiction, and those who are in abuse. Yes. And so I just want to acknowledge you for writing this book.
Thank you.
Because this is a mighty book and this is not an easy book to write.
No.
And this week, I mean, let's talk about how we were able to bring forth such an intense book in such short amount of time.
Oh, I love that. When you ask me where to write my book, you know, she, Kira gives me the option of choosing where. And I felt I needed trees. I need trees. And I said, I love the ocean. And she said, mill Valley. And I had never been there.
Me neither. That's what's so crazy.
And then she sent me a couple Airbnbs and I, I, there's one. This one here. It really stood out to me. I said, this is the one. And then I even, I said I had second thoughts leading up to, I'm like, why didn't I pick Sedona? I live in Arizona. You know, that's very healing there. But the trees were calling me. So once we arrived here in this beautiful, beautiful, gorgeous tree house in Mill Valley, the view, the trees were covered with just trees surrounding and nature surrounding us. So I think we thought of it as a blanket of protection because this is going to be so deep in a lot of topics that are very, very hard and dark. Yeah. And, and so we were blanketed with this nature. But the first day, we actually didn't write too much. We went to Muir woods, and this is where we got the most inspiration to start the book and where to start. And I use a lot of analogy of the sequoia trees, how beautiful they are, how they're the tallest trees. And we saw many that were. Had been through fire. And we're like, oh, my gosh, we've been through fire, but we're still growing. And that just made me think of everybody out there that's been through fire, and we still need to but we can get out. And how these trees got out, they can't grow alone. So they had others that were connected next to them, helping them grow and heal. So community has always been what. How I healed. I had so many people come to help us, me and my children. And I wouldn't be here without all the support. But not everybody has that support. They're isolated and they're feel alone. And so I want to be that community. I didn't show you that you are not alone. And I want to be that person to. Because I know that's what got me out, is knowing that one person cared. And it gave me the courage to.
Keep going, the confidence that day. You know, I just acknowledge you because it's this book. If I'm being really straight, this has been the hardest book for me to help channel. And simply just because I struggled with suicide ideation for 20 years of my life. So maybe even more really. 25 probably. And so to channel this book. When I channel a book with someone, I go into your energy and I move through it and it helps me hear the words as how we get to bring this book together. But I had to face a lot of my own pain that was still stuck in my body from the years of wanting to die. And so day one was like, I felt like we needed to move. We need to be moving our body. So we walked about six hours.
Yeah. On Monday.
And. And I had you actually talk to me about the day that you found your husband. And. And we moved so that it could move through us so that we weren't sitting in a confined space. Like, move it through the body, Move it through the body. And then it was like, no, we need more. And so we went to the Mirror woods where those trees are. Some of them date back to 950 AD.
Yes.
Which is just wild. Like you're like this before Columbus. It's like these are old ancient trees. And every one of them, we didn't find one that had not been licked by fire. And none of them were dead by that fire. And that was like. That is such a representation of those of us who have faced such fire. You and me and so many people listening. Like, it may have made scars, but those trees were still 300ft tall. And they were growing despite the fire. And being in those woods that day was so extraordinary. And then Tuesday, we wrote all day.
Yeah, we did.
What did we do Tuesday night to help us?
Tuesday was that breath work day.
Oh, Tuesday was breath work day. Which is what cracked it all open.
Oh, yes. That was incredible, that breath work. We. And that's been a big part of my healing. I've been doing it for almost 18 months.
Yeah. And what's crazy is that I hire the same breath work master every time. Jeremy Mutic, he comes in via Zoom to every one of my author adventures, and you're the only person who actually works with him. I know.
I'm lucky. I'm lucky. I. I get to go every week. Yeah. On Mondays and 7:15, I reconnect mind Body in Mesa. And this has helped me heal some ptsd. It's helped me heal just my nervous. My nervous system. And also I had to get done.
And.
That helped me get stronger.
Yeah. So that version one that he's your breath work master, but he came in, and I feel like it was in that breath work session that we. It was like we united. Like, I could feel it. Like, all of a sudden, the book came in. You and I were in the right channel together. And then we wrote for, like, six hours. Yes. And then we did something that night that was it. The hot tub night.
I think it might be the hot tub night.
I don't know.
They're all. I don't know.
They all kind of move together. But we found this really beautiful spa in Mill Valley here that has these outdoor hot tubs. And it was under the stars. It was this clear night, and there were crystals everywhere. And we sat in that hot tub, and when we got in, we were like, 45 minutes. I don't know if we're gonna last 45 minutes. And then a whole leg of your business showed up. Yes. That we're gonna start creating that will help people who read this book. And so it's amazing to watch how when we spend this time together, the book is coming through. But it's not just the book. It's. How is this book gonna go? Serve more.
Yes.
So stay tuned, because when her book goes live, she's gonna have this amazing program. Anyone who reads the book, who needs more? And it all came together in the hot tub. I did.
Yeah.
So that part of the business was birthed in a hot tub. And. And then Wednesday we wake up. We have so much writing to do. What happened?
We had no power.
None. No.
Like, it was freezing.
Freezing. Pitch black. No street lights out here. I took a shower in pitch black. Like, I hope I can do a.
Shower in the dark. You're like, I just have to. I'm like, ok.
Otherwise I can't. My eyeballs won't wake up. But this is what's so cool, is that we had so much work to do. And it could have been really easy to say, we're just gonna. We're just gonna wait, see if the power turns on. But Melissa here. What happened?
Oh, well, I was like, hey, there's gonna be a coffee shop that's open. So I Google coffee shops and which one's open? And I said, let's go. Let's go over there. Let's get ready. And. And we had. It was great.
By 7am we were like, at the coffee shop and we were writing. We had our. You know, I had my chai. She had her coffee, was like, oh, this is so great. But then something happened at the coffee shop, which is really extraordinary because it. It is really important. Every piece of these adventures is for the book. We live it, we breathe it. Everything that happens is an analogy. It's a. It's symbolism from God. And I was running my mastermind for the master, for the authors that morning in the coffee shop. And I don't have a quiet voice. I'm like, level 10 always, right? Especially when I'm coaching. I'm just like, level 10. Like, let's go. And I'm, like, preaching about God and, like, how they're. You know, we're like Joan of Arcs. And then I'm, like, deep in it, and this old woman comes straight up. And I would say she was not even 12 inches from my face. And she yelled at me. She yelled like, this is not your living room. No one wants to hear you say this. And she got so angry. And I felt this. Like, oh, my gosh, I felt so bad. And I had no intention of that. And so I left and I went out front. But what I heard for me, and then I want to hear what Melissa experienced. What I heard was, this is what happens when we write our truths, when we speak our truths there. It will always disrupt someone. And it has nothing to do with us, has everything to do with their own pain and their own trauma. And I got to release her in. In love. And also acknowledge that when we say things that we know are true, it will disrupt. It's just what's going to happen. And. And then I want you to say what you experience on your side.
Oh, yes. Well, I noticed right away just that anger. There was so much anger. And when Kira left to go outside, I looked at everybody's reaction, and everyone was like, what just happened? You know, because no one was bothered. There was loud music, and it just didn't seem to Bother anybody else. And there was this young boy, he was 12 years old, and he was so hurt for Kira, and he was like, oh, no. Like, you know, he felt terrible for her. And I also thought, well, this. This woman is hurting so much inside. She's gone through a lot of trauma and still haven't worked through it, you know, and that triggered her, you know, either if it was the word God with Mo, most likely that was because for a lot of people, that does trigger them. And because they probably had some trauma at one point because of.
Was a great reminder. Because your book might do that for people. Right. Because you. What I love about you is that you do not sugarcoat things. I take some boldness that takes some courage to. To speak the way that you speak, where you're like, I will not hide. My husband died by suicide, and we're not going to push this under the rug, and I'm not going to hide it. Like, we are going to speak truth. We're going to let truth heal generations. Yes. And you also speak and you use the word God in your book and you say, like, I will not water this down. And that takes such courage. And it might disrupt people, but this is the disruption we need.
Yeah.
Because suicide stays because no one wants to talk about it.
Yeah. So true.
It's. It's like this fear that if people say the word suicide, it's like contagious or something.
Yes.
But the truth is. Is keeping it silent is what makes it contagious. Yes.
Just alone on my side of the family and my husband's side of the family talking about mental health was silent.
Yeah.
I would. I would never hear them talk about it. You know, on my side family, they just would pretend that my grandpa was dead. But, no, he was not. He dealt with some mental health issues. And it. And on my husband's side with the two suicide. This was hushed. And I don't. That did not serve Scott.
No.
And it serve our family and it will not serve my children. No.
There's a chapter in your book that called. It's called Ghosts of Generations or Generational ghosts or something like that. And we talk about the compounding of generational trauma and how, you know, in Scott's family, how there was someone on each side who had died by suicide, but it was never talked about. And. And the not talking compounds the trauma throughout the generational line. And I love that you say that. Like, it ends now. Yes. Like, this will not move forward with my children and their children and their children. Like, suicide ends now.
Yeah.
And that, I think, is such a profound. It's a profound statement. It's in its mighty work that you're doing.
Thank you.
And I think, as people read this, that they will learn to be that bolt. Like, no more. No more hushing this. No more quieting. No more like, pretending is something else. Like, state it, and then let's heal. Yes. And I love that about your book. So I want to talk about that day. The power went out. We had to work in a coffee shop. And then we decided we're gonna go back to the Muir Woods. So we went. We wrote for five hours. Yes. Talk about that experience. How was it to write underneath 300 foot trees?
I was in my happy place. I was so happy. I love nature. That's always been some. Just so healing for me. So I'm writing, typing away on this bench, and then I look up and I see all these trees and the creek passing. You know, I can hear it, the creek. And I'm just in awe. It's like I'm getting the wisdom from these trees. They've gone through fire and survived. They're still standing. And so that was just to inspire the energy because I wasn't comfortable.
No.
Freezing cold.
We were on this really hard bench, and we kept being like, we're like. Like our necks, our backs. It wasn't like, this is nice and cozy. Our hands were frozen, but never once.
We're like, oh, I kind of want to leave out of here. No. Because that gave me the energy, that wisdom from the trees. It just. It flowed and I. Yeah, I loved it. It was a beautiful day.
And it was interesting because I, As I went for a little walk, because for me, when I channel books, it gets really intense in my body. I have to get up and have to move, and I have to move and move it, and. And it was getting intense. And so I got up and I'm walking, and then I heard. Heard it. The message that I heard was that the intensity of this book had to come through and in the intensity of the forest. Like, these trees, they're so huge and they're so mighty, and they could hold the intensity that was coming through, which allowed it to be very easy for us.
Yes.
We're able to write things and bring things through that were very hard, but it was easy because we were there and the. And the. The forest held us. So beautiful. It was so powerful. So that day was beautiful. I would say Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday was gathering, right?
Yes.
We were just kind of like, writing and super chaotic and we're like, this is coming through. And these are really important to talk about because people think that writing a book is like, chapter one, chapter two, chapter three. That's, like, not how it goes.
Oh, my gosh, no. I'm all over the place.
Like, literally pay, right? And those first three days, it's always scary for me. I'm always like, oh, no, we didn't pull this off. Tell me why I can do this. I don't know. Like, my day three, I'm like, I don't know.
We can do it. I did tell you. I'm like, okay, it's all over the place.
But that happens on every adventure, so it's not a deal.
Right?
Like, it's like by day three, I'm always like, oh, no, this is a mess. We're a mess. But Thursday. Thursday hit, and it was like. Like, it just locked in. And the book showed itself to us. So we could. It's like, I could see, see. Ah. I know what's happening. I know what has to go. And then we just plugged and day. Thursday, day four. We wrote almost all day.
All day.
Yeah.
We didn't leave.
Yeah, we didn't leave the house. We didn't leave.
We.
But why would we. We're literally like, I. I mean, those of you who are on YouTube, we're going to actually show you, like, we are above the treetops. We're literally in a treehouse. It's absolutely insane.
I know. And Kira always asks. She's like, do you want to go somewhere? And I'm like, no. Like, I feel I'm outside in the beautiful view and the trees, and I'm comfortable. I'm cozy. It's raining.
Yeah.
I was like, no, I'm good.
So we. Midday, though, are. And I think these are really important things to notice, because when you are in Wild Creation, it can really run your nervous system too hot, and that creates burnout, and then you can't continue. And so we. Every day, we worked out. Yes. Every day we had a really hard workout. Oh, Thursday, I wake up and I ask God, what does she need today? And I hear, hot yoga. Oh, gosh. So then I googling and I find this place called Red Dragon. I'm like, all right. I guess this is what Melissa needs. And let's talk about Red Dragon. Let's talk about that.
We almost didn't make it out.
Almost stayed in the Red Dragon for life.
I was definitely very sore. I was starting to feel it. My neck back. And I was like, oh, yeah, this is gonna be great. I've done Bikram when I was 20, you know. Yeah. Easy, easy. I remember this. We get into this room and it's hot. It's very hot. And we arrived a little early too. So we were in that room for a little longer than the class with 60 minutes. Well, the class starts and it's intense. Every move. I'm like, oh. And we had eaten like an hour and a half ago, but I still felt in my stomach. I'm feeling nauseous. I'm like. And I'm looking over at Kira, she wasn't looking good. I'm like, she's the mouth breathing, almost like I panicked. And I'm like, is she gonna be okay?
There was one point where I looked in the mirror and I was like, that doesn't look like me anymore. Like, I actually was like, I'm go. I, I literally multiple times. Like, I'm going down. Like, I'm. I think I'm going down.
The instructor, the instructor, when you probably had that feeling of going down, comes a little closer to you because she's.
She'S feeling that like it's going down, going down. Karen.
I'm going down.
And I'm like, why did this, this is what Melissa needed. Awesome. Awesome. I might die on this adventure, but, like, that's how these adventures go, is that I never plan them. I never plan them. There's no plans whatsoever. Every day I wake up and I ask, what does this author need? And then I hear it and then we do. And that one, like, maybe I almost died, but afterwards I felt great. I felt like a winner. Oh yes, I am a winner.
We made it through the entire 60 minute class. Since we were there early. It was 90 minutes.
Yeah, yeah, it was pretty intense. But that was. But after that though, because we had written all day, we needed. I mean, I had never sweat that much. I mean, my sports bra felt like someone had put it through it. Like an actual pool. Oh yeah, it was. I was so stoked. And, and it like moved all the intensity of the book out. Like it was like gone. Yes. Anything that we had gotten triggered or pulled up out of our bodies, absolutely. I felt that and that was important. That's why, that's why God said that's what we needed. So like, this has probably been our most, like, I would say out of every retreat I've done, we've. We've done the most extreme things to match the extremity of the book. Right. So what happened Friday? I don't even remember what do we do Friday?
Friday. Friday, Friday. Oh, we wrote.
Oh, we wrote. Yeah, we woke up early.
Yeah.
And we wrote all day again. We did a workout midday to, like, move through some energy.
And then we went with a branding tally.
Oh, yeah, that. One of the days. Yeah, one of the days. She got her book cover done, which is phenomenal. The book cover is amazing. We're going to drop the title at the end of this. So we worked with the book cover, but Friday we worked all day, and then it was like the energy kind of cracked, and I was like, we need to leave. So we went and had this amazing fish dinner at this beautiful restaurant here called Fish. And then we went and got massages.
Oh, yeah.
And that was really important. The massage is always the last day of the adventure.
It.
It. It's like you need it. You need it because we are the vessel. The body is the vessel. So we're going to use this vessel to write out books. The end of the week, the body needs care. And so how did that feel, finalizing it last night? Oh.
Oh, it felt. I was. I couldn't believe it, to be honest. I came to this adventure. I was like, okay. I was leading up to it. Was so anxious because I'm like, how am I gonna do this, really, in five days? Me? I don't know. I've never written a book. And I was like, okay, no expectation. No expectation. If I don't finish it, that's okay. I'll work on it afterwards. This will be just the. The b. Breaking grounds. And to finish it and to know that I had 30,000 words by Friday, I felt good. I felt proud of myself. And I was like, wow, this book is going to get out sooner than I thought, and it's going to help thousands.
Yeah.
And ending with that massage, it was like the best massage that I ever had. And it really released so much because when I'm writing these events, it's like I'm reliving the events. So you start feeling my heart, start feeling all the. Feel the sad, the intensity, the sadness that we felt that my kids felt. And so Kira is really good at knowing what I need throughout my nervous regulation. Be like, okay, we need to stop. We need to get out. Even though I'm like, no, I'm good. I'm okay.
No.
She's like, no, let's go outside. Let's go dance a little dance party on stage. And then I love dancing. I always say, this is what I need to do, start doing. And so that kept me going. And Releasing it. So ending it with a massage was the best way to end. I can't believe it's done, though. I'm so sad.
We are lucky, though. Not everyone gets this, so don't expect it. But we're both flying back to Arizona on the same flight, which means that we get to sit and work together today in the airport and on the flight, which I feel like this book needs. This book needs that extra little bit to just finalize the pieces because.
Oh.
This book isn't just, like, a good idea. It's not just, like. Yeah, it's like, a really good concept. We should probably write about it. Like, this book is going to save millions of lives. And, like, sometimes I don't know how I'm alive. Like, sometimes I don't know how I was able to combat daily suicidal thoughts for the majority of my life. Like, I don't know how I am alive. And I look at this book and I just think there's so many people who struggle in that darkness and isolation, and they don't. They don't have God. Like, God is why I'm alive.
Oh, yes.
Like, why is. Why do I always talk about God? Why is God my greatest strength? Because that is, like, I'm alive because of God. And so your book and what it teaches and the realness that you bring and the tools that you teach, it is going to save lives. And this is mighty work.
Thank you.
And I. I just. I honor you because it took a lot of resiliency this week, took a lot of determination and also, like, conviction. And there were many times when you could have just said, I gotta take a break. And you didn't. You just let it come through. And I want everyone who's listening to know, like, she wrote this for you. She wrote this for you and for those you love. And if you are struggling with suicidal ideation, this book will help you. And don't do it alone. Like, find your people. Find your community. Find someone, a safe person to talk to, because we need you. Because suicide is actually never the option that will serve you or those that you love. Those of you who are struggling with abuse, this book will help you. Those of you who are struggling with an addiction, this book will help you. Those of you who love someone who is suicidal, abusive, or an addiction, this book will help so many people. I. I cannot state enough of, like, the suppression around these topics must end, and Melissa is ending it. So I just honor you.
Thank you so much, Kira. And I'm so glad you chose to live that Day. Because look at what you're creating right now and helping so many. Helping all these authors that have this fire in them as well, to get that message out. But that seems so overwhelming to write a book.
Yeah.
Right? Yeah. So it's finding the right publisher. Yeah. Of course you can write it on your own, but how long I've talked to people. It's taking them seven years.
Yeah.
Or it's still almost done. It's almost done, right? You need Kira. You need Kira. I couldn't have done it without Kira. And I needed the urgency of this message. It's only been 20 months since my husband passed, and it's not a very long time. And I always thought I'll write a book in 10 years because I still have a lot of work to do myself. I'm still learning. But no, I've learned so much already. I already have a big message in I. I'm here because of God. I'm here right now. Every step of the way, he. It flowed and he opened these doors. Even how I met Kira, you know, and I know this will make a difference.
I love that. Okay, as we finish, I'm wiping my boogers off my face. It's fine. I want you to close your eyes. I want you to drop into your heart, and I want you to just feel into a message, a final message for anyone who's listening or watching right now. What would that final message be?
If you're finding yourself crippled in fear and feeling paralyzed and alone, don't give up on God. Communicate with him daily. Pray with him daily. Ask him for his strength. And doors will open. Start to see the doors. You might not see it. It might not be clear. Because guess what? You're going to be in this cloud. This fog is really hard to see. Connect with one person that has done the work, that has gone through some trauma, has done the work. There's lots of professionals out there. And by even just one person to open up with. And slowly you'll start building your community. And never give up. Never give up. I know you're tired, you know you're completely exhausted. And that seems daunting. But don't. Don't camp out in that fear. Don't hitch a tent. Don't stay there and go one day at a time. Focus on one day at a time.
Oh, so beautiful. Thank you. Yes. Thank you. Thank you, heart. All right, as we close, why don't you leave with them the name of your book?
O. It is the Truth behind the Smiles. That's the name of the book. My husband was a dentist. I'm a dental hygienist. So that just fit very much because we smile. My husband had a beautiful smile. I love to smile. And we just kind of smiled through it and suppressed what was truly going on.
Oh, beautiful.
So the Truth behind the Smiles.
Truth behind the Smiles will be out, really in the next few months. So stay tuned. We'll have her on again to talk about it as the book launches. My message today. My message today is that if you feel like death is your only option, I want you to just look at the life that God has created with me. After I chose to live, when I almost chose to die, when I almost committed suicide, I was super miserable. I was extremely unhappy. I did laundry all day, and I was a massage therapist at night. It was really, really unfulfilled. And now I get to, like, help authors write their most important books in tree houses and, like, change the world through these messages. And I think if I hadn't lived, like, what a tragedy to missed out on all of this. So, you know, you have no idea what's on the other side. You've no idea what's on the other side of the choice to live. And if you choose to live and you choose to commit to a higher way of living, meaning that you listen to what God inspires you to do, the magic that lives ahead will be a million fold. You will never even be able to imagine what's possible. And so I want you to hear that, and I want you to know it's possible for you to choose to live. And then to live a life where you agree to do what you are inspired to do is what will crack open a waterfall of miracles.
That's beautiful.
All right, my friends, we love you.
Yes.
Book coming out soon. Have a beautiful, magical day.
You.
