Thanks! New Book. New Workshop.

Leo Bottary thanks his audience and recaps his work: two books, hundreds of blog posts, two podcasts, and roughly 125 workshops for executives and teams. He's developing a third book and a new workshop for cross-functional teams, driven by the belief that human collaboration will matter more over the next decade.

Hi, this is Leo Buttari, and sitting around here today just thinking to myself video would be the perfect medium for sharing some of my thoughts today. One of them is of real gratitude and just wanted to thank you so much for all of the support I've received, I think particularly in the past 4 or 5 years from work on The Power of Peers, my first book, which I co-authored with Leon Shapiro, to my second book, which is What Anyone Can Do, with hundreds of blog posts and probably nearly 100 episodes of our podcast, The Year of the Peer, and then later the What Anyone Can Do podcast that I do with Randy Cantrell. And then, of course, for all of you who have hired me for keynote speeches and workshops and all of that over the past several years. It's been wonderful because part of it for me when it comes to developing content and trying to get in front of as many people as possible is to make sure that I have an opportunity to share the value of that content and what it's all about. But in doing so, every time I'm sharing the value of the content, I'm always learning from my audience, particularly in workshop environments. So As it turns out, now that I've gotten about 125 or 130 workshops under my belt with CEO peer groups, key executive peer groups, cross-functional work teams, I feel really, really great that the 5 factors, you know, with some modification, and of course there's been a lot of evolution in the content because with every one of these workshops, as I mentioned, I learned so much. You know, from the audience that the content is advanced, I think, to such a degree that it's ready for book number 3. So that will be coming out soon. Still working on a working title for that. But the important thing, I think, is I want to get that out there again to as many people as humanly possible. So I'm going to continue to write those blog posts, continue to User Podcast as a broadcast tower, if you will, for a lot of the value proposition that I think comes from peer advantage and peer innovation and just what it's like for us to work together effectively. But also with the new workshop that I've developed for cross-functional work teams, I think it's really, really powerful. And I think when we think about the role of human beings in the workplace coming up and as we reimagine that over the next 10 years, I don't think it's ever been more important for us to be thinking about how we collaborate, how we work together more effectively and do the things that humans are uniquely capable of doing, particularly when we do it together. So with that, I'm, again, I'm just grateful for everything you've done in the past. Just know that there's a new book coming out in the future. There's a new workshop available for you all right now. And I just can't think of, you know, like I said, a better time to just be thinking about the rest of this year and going into next year. And again, making sure that when we consider how valuable we know this content really is and how effective it can be in getting people to think, I think, differently and more openly about how to collaborate. Effectively. That, just really looking forward to an exciting rest of 2020. So with that, again, just wanted to share some of those thoughts. But anyway, I hope you have a great rest of your day and more to come real soon. Thanks. Bye.
