Hi, this is Leo Buttari with the What Anyone Can Do Minute. Today I want to talk a little bit about peer influence. I'm sure you're quite familiar with it, right? I mean, your parents probably cared a lot about who you hung around with when you were a kid. They knew the difference when there were new friends coming into your life, whether these were positive influence or whether these were people that might just lead you astray. The thing is, it isn't just important for us to understand from the standpoint of what it meant to us growing up, but as adults, our peers influence us, you know, quite a bit, and they continue to do that today, sometimes in ways that are obvious, sometimes in ways not so obvious. So if you would agree that peer influence is a powerful force, then the question is, how do we go about harnessing that? How can we be more selective, strategic, and structured about the people we surround ourselves with? How do we take peer influence and turn it into peer advantage. If you can do that, you can do some amazing things. Don't forget, who you surround yourself with matters.
