Leo Bottary explains why learning in groups produces deeper understanding and more confidence to act than learning alone. Discussing ideas with others surfaces insights, embeds knowledge, and builds comfort. Teams that regularly discuss concepts together and support each other implementing what they learn turn knowledge into action.

Hi, this is Leo Buttari bringing you the What Anyone Can Do Minute. Today we're going to talk about the power of learning together and how much more effective it is than simply learning alone. One great example is that of a book club. If you've ever participated in a book club, you know what it's like. You read a book, you sit down with maybe half a dozen or so other people who've read the same book. The more you talk about it, the more that comes to light for all of you regarding all of that content. The more that you understand it, the more it becomes a part of you, and that learning becomes embedded in a way that gives you just a greater comfort level with it. So as you imagine in business, you may read a book on your own and learn a concept, but you're not likely to just implement it right away. When you learn together, you not only understand the learning better, but you give one another the courage to act on that learning. So I encourage you Whenever possible with teams in your company, take time to talk about concepts, learn together, and help each other implement everything that you've learned. Thanks.
