Hi, this is Leo Bottari with the What Anyone Can Do Minute. Today I want to talk about the 5 factors that we found were common for high-performing peer groups. The first one is having the right people in the room. Essentially what that means is having people who bring diverse perspectives but are really there for a common purpose and share common values. Second is to have a safe and confidential environment. This is where people can talk talk openly, but know that what happens in the room stays in the room. Third, you have to have valuable interaction, right? You have to have good dialogue and great takeaways because you can give someone all the emotional safety in the whole world, but having those takeaways is essential to why they are part of the group. Fourth is a culture of accountability. This isn't accountability to the leader of the group, it's accountability among the members for them to bring their A-game every time they come. And for the leader, We really found that servant leadership, one who puts the group above themselves and also is one who serves as a steward of the other 4 factors. So with that, the "What Anyone Can Do Minute."
