Welcome to another Conversation in Care with Con Sotidis, Head of Growth and Partnerships at 365 Care.
Hello everyone, here we are, Conversations in Care live at the Disability Expo, DC Expo here in Croydon. And I've caught up with my friend Rose from Healthcare Australia. How are you, Rose?
Hi, I'm good. Good, good.
So Rose, tell us a little bit about yourself and Healthcare Australia. I'm Rose.
I'm from Healthcare Australia. So we do a lot of stuff, but I'm from the NDIS division. So we provide support workers into people's houses and also for community access.
Great, Rose. And just give me a bit of background. Why did you get into the industry for? I mean, what made you get into the industry? What do you like about NDIS so far? I know you've only been here recently, but give us a bit of pointers. What do you enjoy about the industry at the moment?
I think it's really rewarding to actually be able to provide the service that people deserve. And also it's really nice to see people get the care that they actually need. And it's really like very calculated and for the specific people to live a better life, way more fulfilled.
And what we're seeing at the moment is there is a need for quality support workers. So tell me, how does Healthcare Australia support the industry with the services they offer?
So here at Healthcare Australia, we actually do our own training as well. So if there is a support worker that actually is not qualified to do exactly what they're supposed to do with a client. We train them in-house, so that makes us like stand out because we do all the training in the house.
Good, good. All right, so that's great. So how can people find you? How can they locate you? How can they get in touch with you, Rose, if they want to talk to you further?
Absolutely. So I'll be on LinkedIn. We have our Instagram, we have our website, Healthcare Australia, HCA, and yeah.
What's your full name so they can find your LinkedIn?
Oh my God, that's going to be a hard one. Rose, and my last name is Jafarian.
Spell it for us.
J-A-F-A-R-I-A-N.
Good on you. So there's Rose. If you want to connect with Rose and you didn't catch that, just connect with me and I'll introduce you to Rose. Oh, good. Thank you. Thanks again, Rose. I really appreciate that. And get in touch with Rose if you have those particular needs. Healthcare Australia, Rose from Healthcare Australia, thank you very much for everything.
