How AI is Transforming LinkedIn Posts (Writing Perfect LinkedIn Posts with AI)

Con Sotidis walks through Postline.ai, an AI tool that drafts LinkedIn posts by searching the web and fact-checking across sources. The platform learns your writing style, suggests optimal posting times, and lets you schedule a week of content at once. Use code SSW for a free first month.

Hello everyone, it's Con Sotidis here from The Social Selling Warrior. Today I want to take the opportunity to showcase for you a particular app that I've been raving about recently. You may have seen one or two of my posts talk about this, and I want to give you a bit of a hands-on tutorial. Now I'm not going to cover everything, but I'll give you enough of a, of a snapshot of what it can do. And at the end, there's a special offer for you to get 1 month off for free, which I think you will love because it is truly one of the best LinkedIn posting platforms that I've ever seen. In fact, I cancelled all my other social media posting apps and platforms— Buffer, Hootsuite, you name it, Metricool— all of them. I've cancelled all of them because this, this is the one that meets my needs and does everything that I needed to do. So let's pop into it. Let's have a look at it. So there you are. It's called postline.ai, and that's its front page. And you'll see there, the best AI LinkedIn posts. It truly is. It's got some great reviews. It talks about how it's so much better than ChatGPT, and I'll touch a little bit about that later on. But creating LinkedIn posts for a full week in minutes, it's highly rated and it's been used by a number of high-profile LinkedIn professionals. So it's been created by these 2 gentlemen here, Jacob Skalicki, who is the, the brain space behind it. He's the IT guy behind it. And also a guy called Andy. I just find Andy for you. And Andy is the sort of front-facing person of the organization, and he's the one that showcases it, does demos, and is like the like the BDM for it. But Andy and Jacob both magnificent. I was privileged to connect with these people a couple of months ago, and I saw Postline AI. I reached out and we did a bit of a demo, and I'll tell you what, since then I've been, I've been sold. They've been there all along the way. I was one of the early beta testers, so I was very, very fortunate. Did a lot of testing for them, gave them some feedback, and what you'll see today is a result of mine and other people that have been beta testers and giving them feedback as to where we are today. So thank you to Andy and to Jacob for their support. Okay, let's go into it now. So when we go into— we log in, you'll see something similar to this, or you'll have to be onboarded. So there's an onboarding process, and down here there'll be an onboarding process that will be highlighted, and you'll go through that. And part of the onboarding process is very simple. It really just, uh, you know, asks you to set up some of your settings. So it asks you to set up your name, where you're located, connect your LinkedIn account, which is good. And please, please understand, you don't get banned on LinkedIn by using this app. All you're doing is connecting your LinkedIn account so you can post on it. You're not scraping the database. All you're doing is facilitating via an API a post on the platform. There's some custom instructions you can add there similar to what we do with ChatGPT, but I haven't done that yet. There's target audience. I've articulated my target audience. I've also put in a number of LinkedIn topics. You'll see there it also goes down to workplace users. That's if you want to add more, you've got to upgrade to the highest level plan. I don't need it for now. And you can adjust and delete your workspaces or manage your subscription from here as well. So this is part of the onboarding. Also, as part of the onboarding, you'll be asked to identify your writing style. So you can do that a number of ways. You can let the AI engine in Postline identify and start looking at your writing style. As you see with me, it started from initializing to learning to adapting. I did add a couple of samples of what I did there. I took a couple of my LinkedIn posts copy and paste the content. But since then, it's just been, uh, sort of working away with some of my posts. You can see there the latest post about it, and it just reads them, analyzes them, and says, okay, I'm getting a better understanding of Colin's learning style, writing style. And there it is, it's adapting. The other good thing I like about this app is memories. You can actually articulate here some memories or some, you know, motherhood statements about yourself, so that way the AI engine knows how to position the content you're creating. For me, I've got a strong following on LinkedIn due to my relentless pursuit of excellence. I have a team of experts on social selling, Warrior, focused on enhancing clients' online presence, and so forth and so forth. Okay, so you can add a memory there, and they are all used— as you can see here, memories are details Pipedrive remembers about you to make your content ideas more personal and unique. The more Pipedrive knows, the more personalized your experience and content will be. A bit like any AI engine. Garbage in, garbage out. The more you give it some quality information, the better it's going to be able to adapt to your needs as required. All right, so that's that part there. And the one I like a lot, and it just needs a bit more, I think, refining— I've given Andy and Jacob some info— this is Audience Explorer. So given, let's say for example, I work in the US, let's click on that because I've already done it. So here are, these are topics that people are talking about in LinkedIn, on LinkedIn about NDIS. I can see there, okay, uh, NDIS, who is eligible. So I can click on that. If I double-click on that, you see the subtopic for that would be around who is eligible, eligible supports, who is eligible for NDIS in New South Wales, who is eligible for NDIS support coordination. So what we can do there is we can take that, uh, who is eligible for NDIS support coordination, and then we can put that into a post. So let's see how that works. So I've done a bit of Audience Explorer. I see some of the topics that people are talking about. It could be any topic. I'll then move into the, uh, the next part, which is about my posting. So when you go to your posts, there's a couple of categories here. You can see there's drafts, there's scheduled— that is something you've already written and you've scheduled, a bit like what we do with LinkedIn, but this can also schedule it for you. what's been published. So something that's already been published out there on LinkedIn, it's got it there. And what did not get to be published and failed. So what we'll do now is we want to start a new post. So we'll start a new post. It says, hi, Con, we're going to help you. So it knows me. I've asked it to address me with that. It knows me. And now just looking for me, uh, for some prompts to see what we, um, what we want to talk about. So who is eligible For NDIS support or donation. Who is eligible for NDIS support coordination? Write me a post on this topic. So we'll do that and let's see what it does. So it starts thinking and it's going to start doing its own research. And there it is there. Absolutely, I can help with that. First, I need to gather some information on topic. I'll do a quick web search. So it's done, it's using its own brain, its engine behind it, to do some web searching. Okay, I've gathered some information. Now I can draft a post for you. So it starts writing the post, and that will appear on the right-hand side around here in this blank space. And what it does, it gives you a bit of a preview so you can have a look at it over there. So it's still thinking away, it's writing our post. Remember, it tries to personalize it. It looks at your writing style, it looks at your memory, so it's putting all that together to personalize the post it's going to create for you. It also humanizes it, which is another important part of this platform. Okay, I put together a draft post about NDIS support coordination and popped it into the editor. There it is. I use information from the web search to outline key criteria, and it gives you all the, all the resources, and they are there. So it's gone to a couple of very known I suppose websites for us that are in the system also, but I could add more if I wanted to by typing in here a URL. So let's say I wanted to type in ndis.gov.au and just go enter. It says, okay, thank you, I'll take that into account. Let's put that in there. Now it's going to look at that, says, okay, okay, got it, you want me to check the official NDIS website. Yep, it goes, yep, I'll do that now for you. So we can actually prompt it with additional websites or content or anything else we want to add there. So it's checked 11 websites for information. How good is that? It's really done a thorough check. Again, why is this important? So when you're putting a post out there, you can be confident that it's been validated and it's not making it up. In the early days of AI, we were all concerned about AI making things up. In this case, it's not making anything up. It's using quality, valid resources that it's been able to pick up, and also any you want to add to it. And then it provides the post for you. And there it is there. It's common question: understanding eligibility is key for NDIS providers. Look at that. It says it's common question: understanding eligibility is key. Not everyone gets it. It needs to be deemed reasonable and issued by the NDIA. So who's likely to get support coordination? New complex support needs, limited information supports, language. Now it may have missed some things out, maybe because it didn't use the right resources, but you can actually go in there and ask it to look at a resource that you've identified for it to add to it further. So we'll look about— it's actually formatted it for you, it's created some emojis here for you, it's also put in your hashtags. And those— I'm Social Selling Warriors, that all uses my Social Selling Warrior hashtag. So need help using LinkedIn to connect with more NDIS participants and partners who need your expertise? Send me a DM or comment below. So this is specific for me because it knows I'm a business consultant working with NDIS providers looking to get them some exposure on LinkedIn. So how good is this? It's actually added that as an add-on at the end given who I am and what it knows about me. So if it was you, you're just an NDIS provider, it may not have had that on at the end. Now this is where it starts getting a bit better. You can actually now start adding media to it, and, uh, the new updates that are going to come are going to be able to do more extensive media searching and hopefully some media creation via AI. But what am I doing here? Just type in NVIS, for example, and do a search. Nothing. Okay, good, because Google doesn't know it as a— as an item. So disability, let's type that. Okay, there we are. So we found that particular one there, and there it is, it's put in our post. So the post is very much ready to go. We read it, we customize it, we make sure it's correct, we try to get rid of some of that Americanized Z's and S's, and we make sure it's conveying the message you want to convey. And then we've got a couple of options. We can actually publish it now, which goes live to your LinkedIn, or we can actually queue it. Now if I click on this Calendar, you'll see it says, Con, based on the times you usually post, this is where I think the best options for you are. You can see there most of my options are in the morning because it knows I usually do a lot of my posting in the morning. But I want to override that. So down the bottom here, I can click on that and say, okay, I want it— pick it for tomorrow, so the 2nd. You know what, and I want it maybe a bit early in the morning, so I'm gonna go 8 o'clock. I select that. Once I've done that, it's scheduled. You'll see down the bottom here it says schedule for that. So it's all ready to go. That's it, it's done. It's in the system. I can still update it and all that, but it's in the system ready to go. So once it's all ready to go in the system, just to make sure it's ready to go, I go to my schedule and there it is there. And there it is. I click on that and I'll see my post and all the related resources that are used. How good is that? So you can actually open your schedule and see what's coming up next. You actually can create a whole week's worth of posts and schedule them, and then you sit back and relax and just let the, uh, the platform post them for you. I hope you enjoyed that. That's sort of a quick run-through of Postline AI. What I like about it is its ability to tap into resources, so I validated the information Create the post, and we actually can see here you can view it what looks like on our desktop and also what looks like on mobile. You can actually format here too. So I want to make it all that bold, so if I do actual format on the run, I can actually use italics, I can use dot points. So I'll go there and use dot point, I'm going to add a dot point, and I can add more emojis if I wanted to. So it's got the majority of stuff in there, and now with today's announcement, it's also going to be able to do some Tagging. So if I want to tag someone specifically, I can go in there and tag and say tag. Let's say Michael Clark. Michael. I've been noticed by Michael Clark. Shoot out to maybe my internet's a bit slow. Anyway, looks like my internet's a bit slow. Not to worry. So that's Postline AI for you and how it works, and I hope you got enough info out of it. It's a really good, it's a really good platform to use. And for you today, if you want to get to use this, I've arranged with Jacob and Andy a really good offer. So here we are, we have use the code SSW, Social Selling Warrior W, 1 month off, and you get 100% off for the first month just for you to try. and go for your life.
