In this testimonial, the Chief Talent Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, who also served on BPI's Senior Executive Board, describes the experience of commissioning two to three bespoke research projects from BPI. He highlights the efficiency of the engagement: after a few scoping meetings with Lou and the BPI team, the research objectives were refined and the team delivered a comprehensive, white‑paper‑style report within a few months. The deliverable proved extremely valuable as a benchmarking tool for the Fed’s own projects and informed performance‑management work. in my role as Chief Talent Officer at the New York Fed while I was sitting on the Senior Executive Board of BPI, we had the opportunity to do 2 or 3, I believe, bespoke research projects. And the experience was great, particularly because doing customized, ground-up, sort of white piece of paper research is really time-consuming. And we were able to pretty much, in the course of 2 or 3 scoping meetings with Lou and the team, articulate what we were looking for, refine it with their help, and then pretty much step away. And a couple of months later, we had the benefit of being able to consume that research after it had been, after it had been done by Lou and the team. And it was enormously helpful in, as a benchmarking piece for 2 or 3 projects that we were working on. Lou, you and the team, you know, when we contract as it were, with you. We're getting you and the person who's doing the research. It doesn't get farmed out to, you know, 15 analysts somewhere else in the world that you never get a chance to talk to. Maintain performance management as it is or evolve it. So, you know, those are the two things that really stuck out for me. Very high touch, very client focused, and very much kind of an organic design of what it was we were looking for that we kind of co-created with you and the team. What we were trying to understand was what the other reserve banks were doing around some of these practices. And so it was really useful to just get a kind of a first-person account Now, is this something that, you know, that we might have been able to do in-house? Yeah, maybe, but it's enormously time-consuming and you guys turned it around really fast.
