Louis Carter explains how co-creation design thinking fixes sales team problems like poor recruiting and uneven performance. Instead of top-down directives, employees share ownership of how to execute the CEO's vision, which builds psychological safety so they surface bad leads and low-response proposals without fear. This drives accountability and sales growth.

Hi, my name is Louis Carter, and thanks for downloading the Change Champion's Field Guide. My colleague Scott will send it to your email inbox in about 5 minutes. Now, since you've shown an interest in maximizing your sales revenue and scaling your business so that you and your company will reach their full potential, I thought you might like this too. Some of the problems you might be experiencing are HR recruiters or you are not finding the right producers, or you hire them and then you find out that they're the wrong people. Your team is not gelling nicely, or you have a few producers who are performing nicely and everyone else is mediocre. The way we solve this problem is with co-creation design thinking. Once you say, "I am the boss, do what I need you to do," you are pushing the decision. The other way of looking at the solution is, I am just a part of this system. When you solve a problem with your people, you'll always win. Why? Because every single person in your organization is responsible for what they produce. Instead of being told what to do, they're telling you what they are going to do. They are committed, they are focused, and they are responsible. If the solution doesn't work, they will own that it doesn't work and learn and change from it. So you're actually transferring ownership to your employees, which is the point. You're the CEO, the head. You have the vision. Then let your employees buy into that vision and be responsible for taking ownership of executing that vision. Not only are they not being told what to do, you also plant seeds in your staff that allow them to grow and execute your vision. The problem is people get left out because there's so much hiding. And why do people hide? Because they don't feel safe. They don't feel safe telling you that the leads they're getting are bad. They don't feel safe telling you that they're creating hundreds of proposals and only a few are being read. They want your approval. They want you to like them. They want to keep their job, which is why they lie to you. If you want it to be safe for employees to be honest with you so that you maximize sales to scale and grow your business, then there's a link to my colleague Scott's calendar below so you can book a 30-minute call and let's see if we can help you out.
