13,543$ Trade Recap (IFVG video)

Louis breaks down a $13,543 profit using his Inversion Fair Value Gap method on the 1-minute chart. He shows how a sharp down move created an unmitigated gap that triggered his entry, with a tiered exit strategy that rode the 4-hour trendline liquidity. The trade hinged on patience and refusing to enter on weak signals.

December's price action is here and it is better than ever. If you want to become profitable, then start learning about the Inversion Fair Value Gap strategy as quickly as humanly possible and learn it the way that I do it. This was a trade that I caught today and I also caught a trade pretty much the exact same yesterday. You don't have to overcomplicate your trading, and this is going to be a full trade breakdown from today's price action and how you are going to become profitable, because it is a lot simpler simpler than you think. You don't need to use all these different strategies. You don't need to overcomplicate it. You don't need order blocks, breaker blocks, the 30-second time frame. You don't need any of it. Just use the 1-minute time frame. Use display— let's just get into the video. There's so much to talk about because the price action is so, so good. And if you've been watching my content for a while, and if you've been active in my Discord, then this is where we reap the rewards. We've been learning how to trade, you have been putting in the work, and now you put in the work enough to get the results when the price action is good. And now the price action is good. At open, we had this massive move up. Firstly, let's start with the daily bias. Let's not skip that because it is quite important. The daily bias today was bullish, the reason being it was almost a just a more bullish version of yesterday. We start with the daily time frame. We had this big daily bearish fair value gap that we're currently sitting inside. We have this nice daily high there. There's, there's nothing really going on on the daily time frame other than the fact that we're respecting this bullish fair value gap on the daily time frame. Other than that, let's drop down to the 4-hour. As you can see, this 4-hour is where it really tells us what we need to know. We're in versus 4-hour bearish fair value gap. We had this massive 4-hour high that we didn't take. I know that you can see that we swept it right here, but we didn't take it at the time. But most importantly, in my opinion, we had this 4-hour trendline liquidity, this high resistance liquidity. If you've not been watching my content and you don't watch my daily live streams, then firstly, you're missing out, and the link is in my bio, and the link is in my bio. But secondly, trendline liquidity recently has been absolutely insane. It's the win rate, everything has been crazy. So start to learn about it and buy your power. Stop doing a lot about trendline liquidity. So at open, as you can see right here, we ended up coming up and taking out that high. We swept that high. As you can see, there's nothing that you could do, okay? A lot of unprofitable traders, you would think that you have missed the move because you've entered into this trade— sorry, because you can see price action has ran all this way and you haven't caught it. That's trading. You're not going to catch every single move. It's unrealistic. This is exactly what you want to see open. You want to see a big range. This is a 143-point range. That is exactly what you want to see to start the day. You don't look at this price, price action and think, ah, we've moved up so much, I've missed the move, so I'm going to have to force a trade now. No, you don't think like that. You be patient. Then what happens? We consolidate a bit. This price action is simply untradeable. You never ever, under no circumstances, ever trade this price action right here. It's simply consolidation. This is the unprofitable price action. What happens then? We still consolidate, we create equal highs, we get this bearish fair value gap. And everyone might be wondering, Louis, did I enter a long position once we inverse this bearish fair value gap? The answer is simple: no, I did not. This is not a good trade to take, okay? The reason why this is not a good trade to take is because of this consolidation. It's a light play at most. This is a light trade at most. The only way I would have took a play like in this sort of scenario was if price action looked like ES. As you can see, ES moved down. We're a bit uncorrelated. Yes, we have a big bullish SMT, but this right here is still not enough for me to enter into a long position. So we do have equal highs on ES as well. ES right here just looks a lot nicer than NASDAQ, and I just didn't like this trade. There wasn't enough context for me. I would have preferred a move down and then a long position. That would have been perfect. I 100% would have got into that trade, but we we didn't get it. I don't mind potentially missing a, a win for a trade that I would not have been happy to take a loss. And that's what you need to ask yourself before every single trade. Ask yourself, would I be happy with taking a loss? If the answer is yes, then enter. If the answer is no, avoid it. Then we got this potential, uh, bearish fair value gap. Look at that impulse. If you're ever entering on a bullish candle close that looks like that above a bearish fair value gap, then you just need to leave. Okay, you just need to leave. Stop. It's not good enough. When you are inverting a fair value gap, you want to see displacement. Okay, you want to see a candle like this. That's the type of candle you want to see on the inversion. When you see a candle that looks like this, you avoid it. You stay out of the market and you avoid it. Let's play the price action out a bit. Of course, this failed. Well done. I know you would have stayed out of that trade. Then we get this move down. Now again, remember, our daily bias is bullish. Ideally, we want to catch longs here. Here. Are we gonna force a trade? Absolutely not. We get this big move down, we create a 1-minute unmitigated fair value gap, man, right here. This move is what we have been waiting for the whole day. This is the money maker move. This is what is going to make us money. Whether you are looking for short positions or whether you are looking for long positions, you need this retracement. If you want shorts, you want price to come up, then down, and then creating the bullish fair value gap that you will enter from using this low as your breakeven point. If you want long positions, you want price action to come up, come down, create a bearish fair value gap. You use this as your internal liquidity point, you enter on the imbalance, and you target the highs. That, that piece of information is going to make you so much money if you learn how to do it correctly. Okay, so we didn't get— spoiler alert— we did not get that move. Price just shot up. We then got this 5-minute bearish fair value gap. No, I'm not trading the 5-minute time frame, I would have preferred price action to come down here, then get my long position. It just didn't happen. Again, we're not forcing anything around here. Then that's the end of the New York AM session, going into the 11 to 12 session. We play price action out, we come down, we come down, we come down, we keep coming down, right? You might be wondering, Louis, what is this black line that you have? Now, I actually had this from the start, from the start of my stream. This right here is this 1-hour LFG, unmitigated 1-hour bullish fair value gap. Extremely strong draw on liquidity being an LFG and unmitigated fair value gap. Most importantly, it is a lovely reaction once we tap into this zone and then come out of it. Okay, by the way, if you're watching this and you're getting a bit confused or anything, I know I'm talking a bit— not necessarily fast, but I'm talking a bit more advanced. If you— especially if you're a newer trader, you're going to be a confused right now. If you check the links in my description, then you can join my live streams. Every single day I do this live, okay? So I know this is obviously in hindsight. If you want to watch me do this live, then the link is in my bio. Join the live streams, you're missing out. So what do we have? We have this unmitigated fair value gap. Now, what did I say earlier about displacement? This is right here is the exact candle that you want to see when we're reversing a fair value gap. This old candle is only at the 1-minute time frame. We have a nice internal liquidity above, which is also unmitigated fair value gaps above as well. So we have a 1-minute time frame, we have a tapped into an unmitigated 1-hour fair value gap, we have displacement, we have unmitigated fair value gap above, and we have correlation right here. This is where you enter into your long position. Your stop loss is only if you get a candle close back below this inversion fair value gap Now the way that I played this trade, I entered a tiny bit lightly just because it was between 11 to 12. I targeted my first take profit up here, and then I moved my stop loss to break even once we took this high right there. And yeah, price hit my first take profit. I took— I believe I took around 80% off of my position right here, and then I just held the rest for the trendline liquidity, the 4-hour trendline liquidity. My daily bias is bullish, so I went for the glory. I believe I might still even be in this trade, but yeah, that's how I played this trade anyway. Yeah, I am sitting in this trade. Oh, we're going back into profits, that's what we're talking about. Um, so yeah, that is today's trade recap. If you want to watch me trade live, the link's in my bio. Make sure you comment and leave a like if you want me to start posting these kind consistently again, let me know and I will. And I will see you all very
