Louis walks through a $14,541 NASDAQ/ES trade using his IFVG fair-value-gap strategy. He shows how he spotted unbalanced gaps across daily, 4-hour, and 1-hour charts, placed his stop at breakeven, and hit a 1:3 risk-to-reward ratio by targeting liquidity zones.

No, if you're watching this video, sit down and get a pen and paper and get ready to learn, okay? Because this is going to be an educational video on how you can seriously change your life if you just stick to trading and stick to trading one strategy, okay? This trade alone, I know I don't have to work for the rest of the month. I wouldn't— this doesn't even work. Why is this? I don't have to sit here. I could go to a beach in Barbados and just literally— for a few months, the amount of money that I've made today, it literally sorts me me out. Okay, let's jump straight into today's trade though, because oh my God, it was incredible. Now, starting off with the higher time frames, starting off with the daily time frame. As you can see, the daily time frame right here, we don't really have a whole lot going on. Okay, we're in a bit of a sticky area right now. The only thing that has really happened is that we have inverses by our value gap, um, and we have taken the lows from that bearish value gap. So normally when we inverse a value gap, what price action should do is is come to a draw on liquidity or come to an unmitigated fair value gap. As you can see, we've unbalanced this fair value gap and we've taken out these lows. There's not really much we can go on from the daily time frame. We hit the 4-hour time frame. The most obvious thing on the 4-hour time frame is that we have unbalanced all these fair value gaps to the left. So because we've unbalanced this 4-hour fair value gap to the left, where should price action now go? To a fair value gap or to some draws on liquidity? We have this strong liquidity that we haven't actually quite hit yet. So in my opinion, this was most likely where price action was going to be drawn to today. Also watching the 1-hour time frame, we came down, tapped into this 1-hour 5-hour gap right here. So we— this was the candle that we're looking at today. So we came down, tapped into this 1-hour 5-hour gap, we got a nice reaction out of it, and it obviously looks like we're heading for the highs. So honestly, in a day like today At open, we didn't actually take this low yet. So at open today, I wouldn't, wouldn't mind taking shorts maybe to this low right here, this obvious low. And of course, I would be more than happy to take long positions targeting these obvious highs. Um, so yeah, let's jump to the lower time frames and the trades that we actually caught today. So let's get rid of the ES chart and let's focus on NASDAQ right this second. So yeah, starting at open, we we get this big move up. Now we have a potential short position right here. In my opinion, this short position is not a bad play whatsoever to take. The reason being, we have a 1-minute fair value gap. Now the first thing that you're probably wondering is, Louis, we go to the 2-minute time frame, we have a bullish fair value gap. We go to the 3-minute time frame, we have a bullish fair value gap. The reason why you can take shorts here is because we are not tapped into those 2-minute unmitigated fair value gaps yet. So this low right here this low that I've just drawn on is the start of the 2-minute and the 3-minute unmitigated fair value gaps. But because we have not tapped into those unmitigated fair value gaps yet, it's okay to enter into a short here as long as you move your stop loss to break even straight away. You move your stop loss to break even here, and then of course you don't take profits there because the risk reward— you just simply hold for the lows. You can go to there, go to that, or even target the unmitigated for a 1:1, um, but But most importantly, that's where you can enter. I didn't personally like these trades because like I said earlier, we came very close to that 1-hour high. And honestly, I just wasn't even looking at the chart. This happened so close to open. We got this displacement up. Ideally, what I was looking for here was this displacement up, a nice move back down, tap into a bullish fair value gap, and then a long position. I would have much preferred that. But as you can see, that's not what we got. We ended up coming down here. You could have entered those shorts, not a bad place trade to take whatsoever. Another key thing to note today, we had Redfold news at 8:30 in the morning and we had Redfold news at 10:00 AM, so I didn't take any trades right here. This trade right here we avoided simply because we, we swept this low but we did not have it in SMT, so we, we disregarded the SMT. We came up, we embarrassed this 5-hour gap, not really with displacement. Yes, we had equal highs above Um, but in my opinion here, especially because we had Red Bull news in 10 minutes as well, for when you were trading before Red Bull, the news— the trades that you're looking to take before the Red Bull news compared to the Red Bull news should be different. The trades before the Red Bull news should be higher quality trades in my opinion, whereas the trades— well, of course you want to take high quality trades either way, but you're allowed to be a bit more risky with trades that are after the news instead of just trades that are before the, before the news as well. Okay, so jump in straight back into it. So yeah, I did not take the loans there, wasn't interested. Everybody in the live avoided those loans as well. And then of course we had the Red Folder news at 10:00 AM, and boom, Red Folder candle. The higher this low, the news high, the low, the news low. What is also very important about this candle, it's equal highs. So we have a news high candle combined with a equal highs candle. We also have equal highs here, and that's not even the best part. Let's just keep playing out the price action. You also— we swept out these lows right here, as you can see. So remember what I was talking about earlier on the higher time frame. This right here is now extra context. We've taken this 1-hour low, okay? Very, very important. So again, just gotta be patient here. No longs here because these are all multiple time frame fair value gaps. And then boom, this is where we get our embargement, you got a long position. As you can see, context— we've swept the lows here. You might be wondering, okay, why does this longer look so clean? Let's go through it. Swap the lows, swap the 1-hour lows. We've got news highs equal highs. What else do we have? Get ready for what I'm about to draw. We've got perfect trendline liquidity here. Trendline liquidity is simply when you can draw a trendline and price is respecting that trendline multiple times. What does this mean? This means that there is lots of stop losses resting above in this market. So right here, the average trader, they're looking for shorts and then putting their stop losses all above this trendline liquidity. So what are we doing? We're targeting that trendline liquidity. It doesn't matter what you think the algorithm is, whether it's an algorithm buying or selling pressure, it doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is this area is extremely strong draw on liquidity, and that is why I was so interested in the trades here. You also might be wondering, Louis, why would you take this 1-minute? Um, was it not a 2-minute? Was it not a 3-minute? Let's have a look. There was a 2-minute fair value gap. There was not a 3, 4, or 5. Okay, so we had a 1-minute and a 2-minute fair value gap. Also, if you check— I will go over this actually, this is quite important— if you look at the 4-minute fair value gap and you think here, oh, we have a 4-minute fair value gap to the left here, I couldn't take the longs. These 4-minute fair value gaps are irrelevant because we've created an internal liquidity point. So because we have this internal liquidity point here, this is where price action should go to because it's after the fact that we've tapped into the fair value gap. So we've had the fair value gap, then we've got an internal liquidity point. So if we inverse the fair value gap here, we should go to the internal liquidity point and then the fair value gap becomes valid. Okay, let me know if you have any questions in the comments because if you are a complete new trader, I can understand how you might find that a bit difficult. So yeah, here we inverse the 1-minute. This is actually where I enter into my first trade. So we inverse the 1-minute, I enter into my first position. I'm targeting these new highs, very strong draw on liquidity as well. What is nice about this trade, we have an obvious breakeven point. Obvious, obvious breakeven point. I hope that stays more obvious. If it's not, you know, I really don't care. I'm not a speller, I'm a trader. Okay, so yeah, we inverse to 1 minute. This is where I entered my first position. We play at the candles. As you can see, we didn't inverse, we didn't take the trendline liquidity out yet. And now we actually inverse the 2-minute time frame. So I actually add to my position here. Why? Because we've got all this trendline liquidity above, we have amazing risk to reward, we are also correlated on the ES. We had the high on ES, we did not take, um, so I added to my position here. Again, using the same stop loss. If I got stopped there— and what's important to know here, I'm not over-risking whatsoever. Never over-risk. If anything, I was actually under-risking on the first trade that I took. So then I just made sure that my risk was right, especially because I had the conviction here. My stop loss at the obvious breakeven point. Okay, it's textbook. This— these are the trades you should be taking every single day. If you see this trade in the market, take this trade and watch what will happen. You will become a profitable and a funded trader. Okay, I'm not going to go in and explain anything else on this this day. Honestly, this is all you needed to know for this day. I want you to purely focus on this trade. Swap the liquidity, swap the 1-hour, and burst the 1, the 2. We had trendline liquidity, obvious breakeven point, news high, um, and equal highs above for the draw on liquidity. It's simple. And a 1:3 risk to reward, it is simple.
