UnF**k your mind to trade Prop Firms successfully

A trader explains how to pass prop firm evaluations and scale funded accounts by risking 0.5% per trade, using copy-trading to replicate positions across multiple accounts, and reinvesting payouts into new evaluations. Discipline and strict risk management matter more than skill.

How are you going to become a consistent profitable day trader? Now it doesn't matter what strategy you trade, it doesn't matter how much capital you have, the best way in 2026 to become a profitable trader is by abusing prop firms. Now if you're unfamiliar with what prop firms are, then short— long story short, you can pay for a challenge. Let's say to get access to $50,000 you need to make $3,000, you cannot lose $2,500, and there are certain rules that you have to follow. For example, consistency rules. So you can't just make all of the money in one trade. The, the challenge needs to know that you are a consistent profitable trader. So in this video, I am going to be talking to you about how you are going to abuse prop firms, the psychology behind how you're actually going to get to passing the challenges and getting to payouts, most importantly. And then I'm going to be telling you from personal experience and from teaching thousands of students on how you're actually going to get the payouts and make the withdrawals, because that is what it is all about. Firstly, if you are not serious about day trading and you're just doing it on the side, this is not the video for you. If you are a serious day trader who is willing to put in the time, you're putting in the hours, you're doing it consistently, most importantly then this video is for you. Okay, so let's jump straight into it. You're a new trader or you just haven't got a payout yet. How should you go about the prop firm space? I recommend Apex Funding. I'd recommend Apex Funding because there's no BS with them. If you want to be a profitable trader, then you get a payout with Apex. You can get a payout with any single prop firm because their rules are— in my opinion, Apex's rules are the best rules if you want to become consistently profitable and get payouts over a long period of time. That is because of the consistency rules and the minimum trading days. So your first step to— if you want to start trading a prop firm— is buy an account. Now the reason why this is actually such an interesting topic is because some people decide that when they want to get into trading, they want to start trading with 30 different accounts, or they want to buy 20 accounts or 10 accounts. No, do not do that when you're starting out. Not even when you're starting out, If you have not got a payout yet under your belt, then just buy one funded trading account, okay? One account. This can be any account size. I personally, to start with, recommend $50K accounts. The reason why I recommend $50K account sizes is because they have the best percentage to your drawdown to what you have to pass, okay? So that's why I recommend $50Ks. So buy one $50K account. Now with this $50K account, you're going to set a certain amount that you want to risk. I personally I personally recommend that you risk 0.5% of your account. So if that is a $50,000 account, you are going to be risking around $250. Okay, if you're using my trading strategy, I want your average loss to be around $250, your maximum stop loss to be around $300. Yeah, so use that. Now the reason why I say around $250 and around $300 is it does not matter if you're trying to risk $300 and you lose $310 or $320. Okay. That does not matter, and that is going to happen. What does matter is if you're trying to risk $300 and you start losing $800, you start losing $700— if you do that, you are never going to become profitable. It is the most important thing about trading is your risk management and your discipline, okay? They go hand in hand. When you have strong discipline and you have good risk management, you do not have to be a good trader. I tell my students all this time, or especially my mentorship students, okay? I've seen traders— no offense to the traders— that are not that good technically at trading, but they are so good with their risk management and their discipline. It's the same with me. I could— I promise I could learn a random strategy and within a week I'll be better than 99.9% of people trading that have been doing it for years. The reason being, I know how to handle a loss, I know how to manage risk, and again, I have very strong discipline. So if you can focus that to start risk what you're meant to be risking, okay? Then once you have your one account, you're going to trade this account like normal. I know with a lot of prop firms now you can full port an account. What that means is you either pass the account or fail the account within one trade. Now, do this if you're a profitable trader and you want to scale up and you don't want to waste time on getting on the evaluation phase, which I'll talk about more in the future. But for the, for the average trader, you want to make sure you're trading the account like it is a live account. You want to get used to that feeling of managing risk, managing your emotion, because as soon as you pass that account, you don't even have to get that account to a payout. But as soon as you can pass that evaluation stage trading it legitimately, then it's going to give you so much confidence going into trading, and then you can trade more accounts. That's what I would personally do. Past that one evaluation phase, you don't even need to get a payout yet. As long as you traded that one evaluation phase legitimately, then buy another account, buy one or two or more accounts The reason being, I want to get you used to trade copying. Okay, all trade copying is you trade on one account and then it copies that one trade over to different accounts. With Apex, for example, you can trade up to 20 accounts at once. So, um, tomorrow Monday morning I'm doing a live stream with one of my students, Frostman. Frostman just received a $38,000 or $36,000 payout. All he did was trade one account and then he just has all of the other accounts copy traded and and he's making extra money. Okay, you can't do that with any other prop firm, by the way. Well, you can, but not with 20 accounts. That is why Apex is so good in my opinion. So once you trade that one account, you pass the evaluation, you start stacking a few accounts to get the gist of it, get the feeling of copy trading as well. Then of course, what you now have, two evaluations, let's say, on one PA account. You get that PA account to a payout, you take that payout. I don't care if it's a $500 payout, I don't care if it's a $1,000 payout, I don't care if it's a— okay, maybe not a $50 payout, but get some sort of payout under your belt. Show yourself that you can do this and that you can do it and actually see the money into your account and pay yourself. And then that money also— it doesn't matter if it's $500 or $2,000, but that money is also going to cover your evaluations and your PA accounts. Because remember, you need to treat trading like a business. It's not a hobby. If you want to make trading a reality, you need to treat it like a business. You don't want to go into net drawdown with your bank balance, okay? You want to be up in trading. That is what it's all about. So use that one payout, buy more accounts, cover your evaluation fees. Then of course you've got that one PA account to a payout. So what are you going to do? Those two evaluations are now at payout— and sorry, and now at a PA account. You can now get payout from those. Well, sorry, you can't get paid from those yet, but you can get to a PA account now. And then what do you do? You do the same thing again. Now you've got three PA accounts. You buy— let's say you go to five evaluations or even 10 accounts, because now you know that you can copy trade, you know that you can day trade, and you just repeat the process. Of course, you are not going to do this first time. I'm not saying you will pass your account the first time. I'm not saying you'll pass your account the second time. You will have a very high chance of passing your account the first and second time if you just put in the time at the start, you trade it properly. But the most important thing with this way of trading evaluations and trading prop firms, you're going to progress the quickest that you can possibly progress. I I see so many traders just get in the loop of buying an evaluation, full porting the evaluation, passing the evaluation, then they're on a PA and they're stuck. They're stuck on the PA account because they've never been in the situation before. They don't actually know how to trade, okay? So don't do that, guys. Please do not rush trading. The money will come with trading. You just need to get good at trading fast, focus on the progression, and the money will come, okay? It will literally happen like that. You won't have to change anything. You will just do what you have been and he's getting to this lane. What is this guy doing? Yeah, the money will come. You just have to keep doing what you are doing, and then of course from there it's just a matter of scaling and scaling and scaling and rinsing and repeating these prop firms. If you want me to do a more in-depth video on risk management, or you want me to do a more in-depth video on a certain topic, leave it in the comments below.
