Entrepreneur’s Guide to PEAK Health & Performance (without obsession)

In this instructional video, Lucas Wilhelm Hedenbäck addresses the hidden productivity losses entrepreneurs suffer from gut dysfunction, chronic stress, hormonal imbalance, and mitochondrial inefficiency. He argues that conventional medical approaches are fragmented, treating each symptom in isolation, which prevents lasting improvement. Hedenbäck introduces a three‑phase, systems‑based framework he calls the Superhuman Protocol. Phase 1 focuses on gut health through a three‑step process—elimination of artificial sweeteners, ultra‑processed foods, and industrial seed oils; restoration with collagen‑rich broths, fermented foods, mindful eating, and circadian timing; and regulation via consistent meal timing, stress‑free meals, sunlight exposure, and daily nervous‑system calming practices. Phase 2 tackles chronic stress with a parallel three‑step approach—eliminating stimulants, blue‑light exposure, and over‑training; restoring by anchoring cortisol with morning sunlight, breathwork, and relaxed eating; and regulating through consistent sleep‑wake schedules and low‑stimulation days. Phase 3 integrates gut, nervous system, hormones, sleep, and training, explaining how each loop reinforces the others and why simultaneous treatment is essential. Phase 4 presents his commercial offering: a personalized, real‑time coaching service that audits the client’s entire lifestyle, maps bottlenecks, and provides weekly adjustments. He shares two client case studies (a tech founder named Lucas and a client named Charles) that illustrate rapid symptom resolution and performance gains. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action to apply for a consultation.

The most expensive thing in your business is the work you're losing every day to brain fog, energy crashes, and a gut that's quietly killing your focus. I'm about to give you the playbook on how to achieve and maintain your dream physique while operating at peak performance in your work, relationship, and health. And to do this, you're going to have to change something that no doctor or nutritionist has told you ever before. Let's be real, you probably already invested more in your health than most people around you will do in a lifetime. You've done carnivore, keto, every elimination diet you could find, and you've run through more protocols than you can count at this point. But still, every morning you wake up with that same feeling: bloated after every meal, energy that drops off by a cliff at 2 PM, brain fog that hurts your work, and a body that just refuses to respond no matter what you throw at it. This is because the medical system, both traditional and functional, is broken. Your GP looks for diagnosable diseases, and if there's no diagnosis, you're fine. See you later. Your GI specialist looks at your gut, your endocrinologist looks at your hormones, your dermatologist looks at your skin, and every single one of them sees their piece of the picture while nobody is ever looking at the whole thing at once. But your gut, nervous system, hormones, and mitochondria are all connected, and treating one variable while the others stay broken is exactly why nothing has stuck long-term for you. At this point, I've worked with over 100 entrepreneurs rebuilding their health from the ground up, and there are 5 things every man dealing with chronic health issues needs to understand And it all starts with your gut. Just to be clear, this was me before and after I fixed my own gut health. I completely changed my physique without changing my calories or workouts. But even more importantly, I went from getting maybe 4 hours of work done in 10 hours a day to 12 hours worth of work done in a span of 4. You see, when your gut is inflamed, the damage doesn't stop at digestion. Your cortisol spikes and your brain drowns in a low-grade fog so persistent you've forgotten what clarity even feels like. The athlete training hard who still can't shake that soft, bloated look. The entrepreneur who wakes up at 5 AM and still can't string 2 focused hours together. Or the high performer eating clean on paper, but that runs at 60% of what he knows he's capable of. Most guys blame their sleep or schedule, or sometimes even their genetics, but it's actually your gut. Phase 1: People approach gut health backwards, and the first move is always to add something— probiotics, digestive enzymes, or gut healing supplements. But this doesn't work. The protocol breaks down into 3 Elimination comes first. Most people get this completely wrong because they skip straight to adding things when the first real move is removing what's constantly tearing the gut down. Artificial sweeteners disrupt gut bacteria and increase intestinal permeability. So diet sodas, energy drinks, pre-workouts, and flavored yogurts, they all must go. Ultra-processed food, go too. Even the ones people assume are clean, like protein powders, protein bars, store-bought bread. These things are doing more damage than good. Replace industrial seed oils like sunflower and safflower oil with butter, ghee, or Tallow when you're cooking. And once you've cleared that out, restoration is where you rebuild. You want to repair the gut lining with collagen-rich foods like bone broth, slow-cooked meats, oxtail stews. Then reintroduce beneficial bacteria through fermented foods at every single meal. Sauerkraut, kimchi, full-fat yogurt, and properly made sourdough are fantastic for this. Next, support digestion with slower meals, proper chewing, and warm foods. And a shot of apple cider vinegar before can help as well. But regulation is what makes it stick long-term. Eat at consistent times. Cut out Constant snacking. Stay calm at meals with no screens and no rushing, and get morning sunlight early to anchor your circadian rhythm while pushing dinners earlier in the evening. This shifts us back to our body's natural digestion times and our circadian biology. Finally, you want to manage stress daily through post-meal walks, time in nature, sauna, cold shower, breathwork. All these keeps the nervous system regulated over time. And as entrepreneurs, our bodies are often in fight or flight. When this happens, digestion shuts off, enzyme drops, absorption drops, and the highest quality meal you've ever put together will just flush straight through you if you're eating it rushed. The system simply can't process food. It's not set up to receive it. Which brings us to phase 2, stress. You see, chronic stress is a full-body physiological state. When your nervous system stays in sympathetic overdrive, the body stops digestion of food properly, which leads to low nutrient absorption, which plummets your testosterone. The pattern in almost every client I work with is the same, and it's especially common in entrepreneurs or men who have built their identity around hard work, working 12-hour days while still training hard on top of everything else. Just because you're drinking 10 cups of coffee per day does not mean you're getting more work done. It means that your cortisol stays chronically elevated, which suppresses testosterone, increases visceral fat storage, and breaks down muscle tissue, which leads to it being impossible for your body to fully recover. The stress protocol follows the same 3-pillar structure. Elimination comes first. The nervous system cannot recover from damage you keep inflicting on it every single day. Stimulants are the first thing to go and to address. So fasted coffee, late caffeine, and energy drinks all need to go because they keep the nervous system in a state state of artificial activation that compounds over time. Blue light in the evenings is the next one because screens late at night causes oxidative stress and signal to your body that it's still daytime. So switch to red light or remove screens from the evening entirely. Next is overtraining. This is the one most people resist, but 3 well-structured sessions a week does more for your system than 5 or 6 sloppy ones that you just stack more load on top of already overloaded nervous system that you can't recover from. Then we move on to restoration. Morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking anchors your cortisol rhythm and sets the tone for the entire day. Low-hanging fruit, massive leverage. Breathwork is used throughout the day to actively shift you out of fight or flight and into a state where your body can actually recover. And one of the biggest problems is being stressed while eating. So sit down to eat, put the screens away, chew slowly, and never eat straight after training when your system is still activated. This applies to your sleep too. A consistent sleep and wake schedule every single day helps lower stress. And when you pair that With weekly low stimulation days, it gives the nervous system the space it needs to properly reset. But the nervous system and the gut are still just 2 pieces of the picture. And the 3rd phase ties it all together. Phase 3. Most men treat each symptom as its own problem. Fatigue gets an energy protocol and brain fog gets a blast of caffeine or modafinil. This creates a brutal cycle that slowly suffocates an entrepreneur's nervous system. And this is how it looks. Gut dysfunction feeds nervous system dysregulation. A dysregulated nervous system suppresses hormone production. Disrupted hormones wreak Poor sleep breaks recovery, which increases stress, which hits the gut even harder. It's one continuous loop that never ends, and breaking it means addressing the whole system at the same time. Phase 4. Now, you might have already tried to solve this on your own. Most men test a protocol which seems to help for a while, but they always seem to end up coming back. The ceiling on going solo is that you're trying to read the label from inside the bottle. You can't pattern match your own case against hundreds of others. You simply Can't see what you've normalized because you've lived with it long enough that it feels like your baseline, or you see your friends trying some new peptide or some experimental supplement that supposedly fixes everything for them. The men who get unstuck fastest stop trying to be their own practitioner and find someone who can see what they can't see themselves. Every practitioner my clients have been through, most have seen five, ten, even fifteen, shares one big problem: they were all handed over a protocol that doesn't change with a body that keeps changing, and a practitioner who checks in every two months is. 2 months behind. Real-time support means the approach moves when the body moves. Almost nobody in the health space is actually providing this, and this is exactly what I've built with the Superhuman Protocol. We start with a full current situation audit. We map out everything you're doing, everything you've tried, and identifying the actual bottlenecks in your system before we build a complete roadmap across your gut, nervous system, training, sleep, hormones, and lifestyle. Then we work through the checklist of fixing each individual line item in your health together with weekly oversight where we're making real-time adjustments. My team Tim and I look at the full system and rebuild it from the root. I've worked with clients across all over the world— entrepreneurs, founders, engineers, and many more who had been dealing with chronic gut problems for 10, 15, sometimes even 20 years. Many of them had brain fog they'd lived with so long they'd forgotten what sharp actually feels like. This leads to energy crashes that were costing them time and money in their businesses, not to mention their personal life and just feeling good day to day. One of my clients, Lucas, is a tech founder living in San Francisco. He had been trying everything, so he thought. He had also been looking at all my content and applying a bunch of stuff. But his gut problems always seem to come back when he was out having client dinners, meetings, bloating, reflux, all of these problems. It never went away. So he was a bit skeptical. He was like, Lucas, I've tried everything already. I'm doing everything you say, but it's not working. But then just a few weeks in, I'm actually mapping everything out in detail. And for someone else to come in and look at the label from outside, not inside the bottle, we've been able to put all the pieces together and map out an exact roadmap. And now we're standing here a few weeks later No bloating, no reflux, able to go out and eat without any issues, which was never the case for him before. And as a byproduct, he's also got into amazing shape. Or Charles, who came to me thinking that his situation was way too complex. I mean, he'd seen 15 doctors, but we mapped out every issue and then we fixed them all at once. Now his performance is through the roof and he has more energy than ever before, and he sees a massive uptick in his business as well. If you're ready to completely overhaul your health and performance, there's a link in the description that takes you to a short application to book a call with me or my team. And On that call, we'll map out your exact situation, where you're at, what you've tried, what keeps not working, and whether we can actually help you or not. So go ahead and schedule a time there, and we will talk to you very shortly. Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the next one.
