How To Fix Low Libido For Good

Lucas Wilhelm Hedenbäck argues low male libido stems from stress, sleep, dopamine overload, and toxins, not just low testosterone. His four-pillar fix: reduce chronic stress through movement and sunlight, optimize sleep for hormone balance, cut digital overstimulation, and swap plastics and processed foods for stainless steel and whole foods.

If your libido is low right now, if you feel flat, you feel unmotivated, no real drive, no real power, it's very easy to think that something is wrong with you. Most men immediately start to think that, oh, my, my testosterone is low, I must do this or that, maybe I have to jump on TRT or something like this. But here's the truth, that most— almost nobody is talking about. Low libido is almost never just about testosterone. It's about the entire system that produces drive, competition, vitality, and masculinity. And today, that system is under attack from almost every single angle: chronic stress, poor sleep, overstimulation, environmental toxins, lack of competition, constant stimulation, and When all of these things stacks together, your body slowly shifts into survival mode instead of reproduction mode. Reproduction is actually, actually what libido is. So today I'm going to show you exactly how to fix low libido for good by addressing the real root cause. We're not going to look at just here's the fancy supplement that is going to fix this for you and here's the new peptide. You already know my view on peptides and all these things, right? It's absolutely bullshit. When I started working out, I didn't think about any of these things as well, right? Obviously, this is just in the beginning, but one of the problems that I was dealing with was obviously you can look at this guy and you see how unhealthy he is, right? I look like a child. I look absolutely destroyed. You know, my health was completely wrecked and my hormones were absolutely wrecked as well. And then we compare that to now, obviously. Looking like a stud, if you ask me myself. If you ask myself, shredded hormones through the roof, libido through the roof, feeling a million bucks whilst I'm working long hours running my six seven figure business. And yeah, you know, on paper it shouldn't be the case, right? On paper everything should have been better here compared to what it is right now, and the setup should have been better here compared to what it is right now. But it's just that I understand all the all the ins and outs right now. And I also understand that, you know, training and nutrition— once again, I say this all the time— it's 20% of the equation. It's fixing all these things around, fixing your hormones, fixing your lifestyle, your habits, your sleep, your mitochondria, your metabolism, upregulating that. Like, it's fixing all these things that will take your health to the next level in a world where we're getting attacked from every single— where every single angle you could potentially think about, you're getting So also, if you're new here, welcome to the to the channel. My name is Lucas. I'm just a regular guy from Sweden, and over the last five to six years, I've dedicated all my time to try to solve complex health problems that modern medicine and modern doctors overlook and deprioritize. So once again, everything for me started by just you know I wanted to get in shape, right? I wanted to to. Become a bodybuilder, actually, and started working out and all these things. But then I quickly understood that I'm doing everything right on paper, yet I'm feeling absolute shit. And that's when I completely shifted my focus and understood that there's a lot more to to this equation than just lifting weights and eating right. Because also I was working a corporate job. I was working at Swedbank, which is one of the biggest banks here in Sweden. High stress load, all these things, and I felt absolutely terrible. So shifted my focus and boom, everything else happened. So. Obviously, fixing libido, fixing hormones is one of those key things. So today I'm going to break down exactly how to fix low libido for good once and for all. First thing we have to cover: the real problem. Low libido today is extremely common, not because men suddenly became weaker, but because our environment has completely changed. Think about it: we live in a world full of constant stress, constant stimulation, constant artificial chemicals, and constant digital dopamine. And all of these things directly impact the biological system that regulates the libido, because libido isn't just about testosterone. This is one thing, key thing we have to understand. It depends on androgen receptor sensitivity, dopamine signaling, cortisol balance, inflammation levels, sleep quality, micronutrient status, and nervous system regulation. And when those systems break down, libido disappears, not because you're broken, but because your biological biology is misaligned. So once again, the first thing we have to understand here is like everyone always thinks about, oh, it's just my testosterone, that's the thing that has to be fixed, and then everything else is going to fall into place, which is completely the wrong thing of looking at it. That's just putting a Band-Aid to the problem, you know, doing some, let's say, TRT or something like this that like it doesn't fix the root cause. And that's always the thing that we want to try to focus on and, and that I do with all my clients. And that's why I'm making this video as well, to shift your focus from the Band-Aid solutions to how can we actually fix the root cause to this. So this is going to be a 4-pillar breakdown, the 4 pillars of libido, and those are stress regulation, hormonal signaling, dopamine balance, and environmental toxicity. So to really restore libido, these are the things that we fix. So let's run through them. Pillar number one: Kill chronic stress. So one of the fastest libido killers is chronic cortisol, and when cortisol stays high for long periods, testosterone signaling drops, dopamine drops, androgen receptors activity drops, libido disappears, and your body simply prioritizes survival over reproduction. If your brain thinks you're constantly under threat. It shuts libido down. This is why a lot of high-performing entrepreneurs and a lot of high-performing men often struggle with low libido because they live in a constant sympathetic state, always on, always pushing, always stimulated. So how do we actually fix this? Well, super simple. Daily walks, breathwork, doing sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy, getting enough sunlight, and doing some proper things to regulate our nervous system. You cannot restore libido while living in, in a permanent fight or flight. One of the biggest mistakes I did earlier in my like entrepreneurial career as well is like you have this mindset of once again always being activated, always being on. You always have to do something when you eat. You have to to to do this at the same time. You always have to like multitask and just like always be on on on do do do effort effort effort, which is one of the biggest mistakes you can do because like that I wouldn't say stress but like clutter and unclarity. Is one of the things that absolutely messes up your, first of all, nervous system, leads to you building up so much stress within, inflammation, all these things. So have like clarity in what you do. I don't know, focus on one thing at a time. You know, if you do this, you do this. If you do that, you do that, right? That's one of the simplest things that you can do. Get away from this constant having to do things, effort, effort, effort, effort, effort mindset. That's not how health works. And we can take the Google Maps analogy that I always mention. Right. If you and me are heading to one destination, you have a car, but you have no clue which direction you're going. It doesn't matter how fast you're driving. You have no clue where you're, you're, where you're going to go. You know, you might or you might not end up there. I, on the other hand, I have Google Maps that tells me exactly what steps to take. And I walk, you know, I'll probably get there faster than you, right? Because I take every single step like correctly, right? And you can do like effort doesn't equal result is what I'm trying to say here. You can drive as fast as you want, you're never going to get anywhere. So shift that, like shift away from the effort focus and just hone in on one thing. If you do one thing, you do one thing. Cut out all noise. That's one of the most powerful things you can do to kill chronic stress. And obviously, once again, then it's going to be all the small things, but that's covered in different videos. You know, so we want to have— make sure we're eating properly so we're not getting inflamed from within. And all these things as well. But, but if that's a problem for you, you have to look at my other videos where I go over nutrition and stuff. Pillar number 2 is going to be to fix the sleep. Sleep is when testosterone is produced. Deep sleep is when the hormone system resets. If sleep is poor, testosterone will drop, growth hormone drop, cortisol increases, and libido collapses. You cannot supplement your way out of bad sleep. So what you need is darkness at night, sunlight in the morning, consistent sleep schedule, and low stimulation before bed. Libido is a recovery signal, and recovery happens during sleep. I cannot stress the importance of sleep enough. It's one of the most important things for all aspects of your health to be dialed with your sleep, and it's super, super simple to have this locked in place. We want to dial in the light diet, which is something that we go more in detail and exact protocols for this, of course, in my, in my coaching program. But long story short, 3 touch points of light. Morning, midday, evening, right? If you do that, you're dialing in your circadian rhythm, which is going to be one of the key things there. Obviously, cutting out stimulation. Melatonin is one of the most, most powerful antioxidants for our body. So being stimulated and getting blue light at night is also something that is absolutely wrecking our health. So cutting all those things out, you know, you can still sit and work, but you just have to have the right protocols in place to do so. Red light glasses, red light lamp in the background and things like this to optimize your environment. Once again, you already know this by now, guys. I hold back on probably 80% of all the things I give you, 20% so you can take away and get some real powerful results by just doing these things. But if you want the full detailed protocols for all these things, it's in my coaching program, right? I withhold around 80% of the value for all my, all my clients. So pillar number 3, then fixing dopamine. Another huge libido killer today is dopamine dysregulation. Porn, social media, constant notifications, instant stimulation. All of this floods the brain with dopamine spikes and over time the brain adapts. So your baseline dopamine drops and libido drops with it. So this is why men can self-stimulate by screens but not by real life. This is also super, super common for so many entrepreneurs. It's like you only get stimulation from work and from screens and these things, and then as soon as you, you stop working or anything, it's like you almost feel lost. It's almost like you feel like you don't have any, any purpose with life outside of work, which is a terrible situation to be in. Cutting all those things out is one of the most important things. And then we want to replace those things with the right things. So we want to reduce artificial dopamine as much as we can and rebuild it through sunlight, movement, competition, achievement, and meaningful work. Real dopamine, not digital dopamine. Try to cut out as much of the instant gratification, instant dopamine as possible, and only focus on delayed. I mean, just take my Ironman as an example. That's probably the the most extreme end of like delayed gratification you could ever think about. You're doing the work for so many months, you're putting in so many hours without getting anything, and then you show up and then you have that one little minute or 2 minutes or whatever when you're running into the red carpet and crossing that finish line. But I can tell you from experience as well, That's that's the best feeling in my whole life. That right there, because you've built up all this like tension, and then it releases there. Like you get the reward there. So like the the hit is so insane, and that's why like without any doubts, I look at my Ironman as one of the best the best things and the highlights of my life to this to this point. Because of that, so much work being put into that, and then you get the reward for it, even though it's just it lasts for a couple minutes. Like, that just tells me as well, that's a confirmation for me as well. Like, the hard work is worth it because the reward comes when you're done with it, right? So cut out all the instant, you know, do the right thing. Movement, sunlight, competition, friendly competition as well. Like, super, super important. I think one of the main reasons why both me and Ludwig did so, or performed so well in the Ironman, is because we had a bit of a friendly competition with each other, right? We did it together and we also pushed each other throughout the whole training. You know, it's like if I were to do— have done it myself, Probably wouldn't have performed as good because when you like when you have this friendly competition, it's like of course you don't want to do worse than the other person, right? So super super important last pillar for remove endocrine disruptors. This is where most people have no idea what is happening. Modern environments are full of hormone disruptors. These chemicals interfere with testosterone signaling. Some examples. Teflon pans, nonstick pans, plastic water bottles, microplastics in food, synthetic deodorants, polyester clothing, pesticides, artificial fragrances. These chemicals can mimic estrogen or block androgen receptors. So even if testosterone level looks normal or high on paper, your body may not be responding to it. Plastic spatulas, plastic kitchen cutting boards, even tap water is absolutely filled with estrogenic Estrogenics. So be super, super cautious about the inputs here. Switch to stainless steel, cast iron. Switch to a good natural deodorant. Switch to wooden or steel spatulas, wooden cutting board. Cut out things as chia seeds, tofu, soy. All these things mimic estrogen in our body. Lentils, you know, legumes. Like, cut out all these things. And it's gonna absolutely be a game changer. I used to eat like the all the beans once again. You've seen that in previous video, like the bean pastas or whatever with forty grams of protein per hundred grams. And I was like thinking that I would eating the most anabolic thing ever. But then you know it was one of the worst things that I could probably ever put into my body. So cut out all unnecessary things like this and you're gonna thank me. Later, this is why we don't just look at testosterone. We look at things as androgen receptor sensitivity, SHBG, DHEA, inflammation levels, nutrient status because hormones are a system, not a single number. Like get away from this fixation of of just testosterone is the only thing that matters. You know, it absolutely isn't. You know, all the other variables and markers plays into it, and then you have to connect the dots to understand what happens. Because once again, you can have high testosterone on paper. This is the same thing with all the carnivore guys. But then you can have sky-high SHBG, which leads to, you know, that's putting handcuffs on your testosterone, which means that you can't really access it and utilize it. So don't just have this tunnel vision focus on testosterone as the only thing, right? There's so much more to the equation. Then we have the missing piece nobody talks about. Now here's something most people overlook completely. Competition. Once again, as I said with me and Ludwig, men are biologically wired for competition. Competition increases testosterone, dopamine, dopamine, confidence, and drive. Look at what happens when men enter competitive, competitive environments: sports, business, training groups. Testosterone raises, libido raises, and drive rises. This is why community is such a powerful force. And in the Superman Protocol, one of the things we see consistently is this friendly competition inside of the group. High-level guys pushing each other, training harder, showing up consistently. And that competitive energy raises everyone's standard because you become who you surround yourself with. Libido is not just biological; it's also behavioral and social. So here are just some examples, you know, of how we do things. This is why I have a community with all my clients as well. Like everyone is showing up, showing their new PRs here. Blake, 45 times six. I can't believe I did that, to be honest. I couldn't do six with my own weight just a couple weeks back, right? Here as well, Charles, not a big win. Um, we're having, you know, not every day is going to be a good day as well. There's a prime example of this as well. Temporary blah blah blah, making a lot of progress with business, fitness. Notice he's about to scale to the next level, and Devil is always trying to push back. And then everyone is here supporting each other, you know, it's friendly competition. Same thing here. It's just like this is absolutely insane. Every day that I see recap like makes makes me push myself to higher heights. Let's keep pushing. Blessed to be here with all of you gentlemen. Like it's everyone is here pushing each other. These are just a few examples. Now I'm just gonna go. I'm not gonna bore you out. I went in and took some screenshots, but and then I it took too long because there's too many messages, so I couldn't continue. But you get the point. It's just like everyone is. Sharing personal records, PRs, PRs, PRs, PRs, PRs, wins, wins, wins, wins, wins. This this was just a few days, and like I've seen nothing like this in in this space where you have a group of such high-level people and like people that just pushes each other shows up every single day, and it's such a wholesome and yeah just great. group to be a part of, right? This also plays into one of the last things, which is the micronutrients factor as well. When it comes to, comes to really low libido, another massively overlooked factor is micronutrients. Testosterone production and libido depends heavily on minerals such as zinc, magnesium, selenium, boron, iodine. If those are low, hormonal signaling suffers, which is why real food nutrition also matters so much. High-quality red meat, eggs, oysters, fruit, dairy, mineral-rich foods— these are foundational for hormonal health. Always making sure to eat some good caviar, making sure to eat some, you know, always eggs, oysters, rocky fear, steak tartare if I'm out at a restaurant and they have a good— you know, you can make this properly at home as well, but like always focusing on eating the right food. Cholesterol as well, that's always the villain of the century, but cholesterol is super, super important for us guys. So yeah, food obviously plays hugely into this as well, but then you know from the other videos it's not just about what you eat, it's about what you absorb as well. So then it comes to dialing in digestion, which if you have a problem with, you should go and watch my other video on how to fix gut health for good, and then how to fix stress, how to fix stress for, for good as well. All these things go hand in hand. That's what you have to understand. Health is not just a one-piece thing where you fix this and then everything like— no, it's like a whole puzzle where everything has to fall into place, right? Your stress levels has to fall into place because once again, if we look at this low libido, this plays into the— one of the key things here is that we want to lower our stress. And how do we do that? Well, you go look at my stress video and understand everything in detail about stress. And then if digesting the food is your problem, when you— well, you go look at that and understand everything you have to do in order to digest the food properly as well, right? Everything goes hand in hand. It's a very complex. Yeah, yeah. It's not just one one little piece that will that will fix everything. And this is once again why if you fix all these things, the things that are going to happen is that libido will not just return; everything will improve: your energy, motivation, focus, confidence, and drive. Because libido is actually a marker of vitality. A man with strong libido usually has a Strong energy, strong hormones, and a strong nervous system regulation. It's a signal that the system is working. If you're not waking up bricked every single morning, you have a problem. You have a libido problem. That should be the case. That's a sign of good power, good hormones, and a functional system. You know, so if you're not doing that well, you have to execute on these things. And once again, this is. Why with all my clients we don't just focus on training and nutrition. 20% of equation, as I've told you multiple times already. We focus on every single thing. We focus on libido, on stress levels, nutrition, digestion, gut health, sleep habits, everything. And what happens when you do that once again? Well, you get absolutely insane results because training and nutrition will only take you so far. Most of you guys are probably already you're already training and And and eating good. You probably maybe tried a fitness coach that that gave you, and once again, that guy probably can give you a better training plan than me. Hundred percent. I'm probably not the guy for that. But I also understand that the leverage in that specific things is not that high. You know, compared to the other areas that we want to be focusing on that will give us the crazy results, such as Luca here. Forty days. Between. This is unheard of. Arthur as well, just over a month, night and day. Or Noel, 6 months on the protocol here, 10 kgs up on the scale, still holding the lean body composition, right? Night and day. Noel had been training for, for years, business owner as well. He had been just pushing, pushing, pushing, training, training, training, always focusing on, on just being, being lean and being shredded. Hormones absolutely messed up, and now looking like an absolute stud. Ten kgs up on a scale, still holding the body composition. This doesn't happen from just having a good training plan and nutrition plan. It happens by absolutely dialing in the hormonal health. One of the things that Noel had problem with as well was a bit of a messed up hormonal panel. Fixed boom. Six months later, like this is unheard of, you know. Alex here as well. 2 months recomp here. Same weight in these pictures. Absolutely insane. Or Charles or all the rest of the guys. You know, you know the drill by now. Everyone that joins gets absolutely insane results because of the fact that we don't just focus on training and nutrition. We focus on everything else. The Superhuman Protocol is not a fitness program. It's a health and performance protocol. That's why when you join and when you jump on, The first call after you will send me something like this: Not just a fitness coach, not a babysitter, but someone who can help me grow in all areas of and learning to control all parts of my life. This is what you're gonna send me when you join and when you understand that this is not just a training plan, you know, fitness fitness program. So once again, if you're just looking for for a perfect training plan and a perfect nutrition plan, you you you. I'm not probably not your guy, but if you want someone that understands that you know you only have to be in the gym for three to four days a week and do the right things and and leverage your time in the most important way. You don't have time. You have a business. You have a family. Whatever. You don't have time to be in the gym for five six days out of week. You want to focus on the most leveraged things, the things that are actually going to make a change when it comes to your health, and the things that are actually gonna. Result in you getting healthier, getting better libido, getting dialing in your stress levels, all these things. Then I'm your guy, right?
