I used to think that if I just put in enough effort, my physique would come. More discipline, more training, more precision, more sacrifice. And I know that's how a lot of men think. But what I learned the hard way is that effort does not mean much if the body you're asking to perform is unhealthy. Because there I was doing everything right on paper, yet still not feeling good, not recovering well, not getting the level of results I knew I should have been getting from the work I was putting in. So I made a shift. I stopped making the physique the goal and started making health the goal. I wanted energy. I wanted mental clarity, good digestion, good recovery, and I wanted to feel good in my own body again. And I genuinely thought that shift would come at the expense of my physique, but it did the complete opposite. The moment I focused on real health, my body started changing faster than before. That's when I understood that a great physique is very often nothing more than a byproduct of a truly healthy body from the inside. And that lesson alone changed the way I see training forever.
