In this short interview segment, the band members recount how they were signed by the Beastie Boys to the Grand Royal and Virgin labels, reflecting on their early influences and the serendipity of that opportunity. They describe how the September 11 attacks led to the shutdown of the Beastie Boys' office and effectively ended the label partnership, prompting the group to pivot toward creating their own records, videos, and films. The segment also introduces John Rober, a guitarist for Prospect Hill and member of Red 13, who describes himself as a "Swiss army knife" within the band, highlighting his versatile role.
