After Ken got kicked out of his band, drummer Mick Palmisado moved from California to Boston to be an accountant. He showed up to audition with a tiny Toys R Us baby drum kit, the only one he had, and destroyed it so violently he got the gig in Ken's new band, Controlled Aggression.
This is interesting, and I'll be brief with it, but when Ken got kicked out of that band, ironically, this is very weird. This dude moved from California to Boston to be an accountant, and he showed up with his unborn child's baby drum kit. I'm not joking. It was like one of those little drum kits that little kids have. Toys R Us drum set. But this guy was a fucking animal. And he set that drum kit up because he owned it, was the only kid he had. And he literally destroyed it in trying out for the band. And that dude ended up. That was Mick Palmisado, and he ended up being in the next band with Ken and I. So this other band, Controlled Aggression, was like a breeding ground for all of this. Very. That's awesome.
