This is a spoken tutorial (YouTube video) for Florida parents/guardians on enrolling students in EMA for the 2024–2025 year when using eligible private schools that bill tuition and fees directly for certain scholarships. It explains who is eligible (specific Florida scholarship programs), what schools must do (set up 2024–2025 profiles), and what parents/guardians must do (locate and provide a student Award ID, approve enrollment requests and each scholarship payment). The video walks through the Parent/Guardian Dashboard (Action Items, My Students, View Student), how to find the Award ID and program award amount, and the enrollment confirmation flow (what information appears, how to Confirm or Decline, and next steps if declined).

Identifying Next Steps After a student is awarded, the enrollment cycle begins. Schools and Scholars Fellowship Families must work together to ensure that the following steps are taken. Schools will then use the Award ID to enroll students in EMA and then parents and guardians will be prompted in EMA to accept the enrollment request and approve scholarship payments. Schools must confirm student admission and parents must approve each payment to schools before scholarship funds may be transferred to the student's account by the scholarship funding organization. To locate the Award ID of a student on the Parent Guardian Dashboard, follow the steps below. First, log into your EMA account. Second, scroll down to the Guardian Dashboard and locate the My Students section. Alternatively, click on the My Students menu. Option.
