Florida scholarship families can now use the Step Up Scholarship to access part-time public school services like tutoring, courses, and therapy without losing their scholarship or enrollment status. The new Families section shows which districts offer what, and families request services directly through their child's Emma account with no out-of-pocket costs.

Welcome to the Families section of the newly launched Contracted Public Schools page. Here you can explore the public school services available to scholarship students across Florida. Before we begin, remember that students receiving contracted services are not considered enrolled in the public school, so their scholarship eligibility remains unchanged. As a scholarship family, you can request contracted services directly through your child's Emma account using ESA funds with no out-of-pocket costs or reimbursements. This allows you to combine your Step Up Scholarship with specialized public school resources. Participating districts and charter schools may offer individual courses, tutoring, clubs and extracurriculars, therapy, assessments, and more. The page includes two interactive maps showing participating public school districts, the services they offer, and participating charter schools by district. These tools help you quickly find schools offering part-time services that support your child's needs. You'll also find written instructions and a step-by-step video guiding you through accessing services in Emma. Finally, if a desired course or service isn't yet available in your area, we've included a sample letter you can send to districts or charter schools to encourage them to participate. We're excited to support your family as you customize an educational path that works for your child, And we invite you to continue exploring the contracted public schools landing page to discover all the resources available to you.
