Welcome to Step up for Students. Thank you for joining us. As today we will address guardians paying tuition and fees in the Marketplace. You will begin by logging into your EMMA account. Next, you're going to select Marketplace on the left side panel of your dashboard. The welcome to Marketplace screen will now be visible. To find your student school, click Find Provider. At this point, you must select a student before choosing a provider. Use the drop down arrow in the Select Student box to choose your student. Be sure to choose the correct student for the tuition and fees you are reserving the funds for. To locate your student's school, use the filter shown in the red box. In the Service category column, choose Eligible Private School. In the next column, choose Tuition under the service type. Finally, click the Search button. You may skip the Class type button. Select the correct school from the list displayed. Please note if your student school is not listed they have not added tuition and fees in the Marketplace. Please contact the school directly. Your student school will appear on this screen. Select the location your student attends by clicking on the drop down in the Select a Location box. If the school has multiple campuses, please select the one your student attends. If there is only one campus, choose that location. Once you've chosen your student's campus, you'll see details on the school's description, location, hours of operation, services offered, and tuition. The rate will appear as the school listed it in the Marketplace. Be sure to note the length of time the rate covers. It may be a per day, per week, or per month rate. Click the arrow to choose the quantity you wish to pay. For example, the rate shown here is $1,225 per month. If you choose two in the drop down, your total would be $2,450 for two months. Choose the quantity and click Add to Cart. Once you add tuition to your cart, a green banner will appear that states you have successfully added three tuition to your shopping cart. If there are not enough funds to cover the purchase, a pop up window will appear with message Student does not have enough available funds for the service is selected. It will advise you to return to the shopping cart to adjust services. After you click on the Add to Cart button, you will be taken to a screen where you need to grant permission to the service provider to access your contact information. You must check the yes box and then confirm to authorize the provider to reserve your funds for the specific service you have requested. When funds are reserved, the provider can submit payment for services without further guardian approval. This concludes our presentation on how to pay tuition and fees in the Marketplace for Guardians. If you need further assistance, please contact our engagement team here at Step up for Students. The phone number is listed here on the screen for your convenience. We are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time. Thank you for your time and attention.
