Very important Once tuition and fees have been certified by Step up and at least one school enrollment form has been submitted, no changes will be permitted. The following step for the school is to wait for Step up for students to complete the verification process. Achieving a verified status means that Step up has validated the tuition and fees and allowing the school to move forward with student enrollment. It's important to understand that even if the tuition and fees seem accurate, we cannot finalize the verification until the school obtains Department of Education approval for the academic year in question. Please be aware to enroll students. Compliance with the Florida Department of Education is required. Reminders before you enroll, you're going to enter maximum tuition and fee schedules for each grade level before enrolling students. Wait until the information is reflected in your EMA portal before adding a grade for the upcoming year. Students may not be enrolled in the school until it is marked verified for the 2025-2026 school year. Enrolling one student with parent approval will lock tuition and fee schedules. Discounts can be applied at the student level but cannot exceed the maximum published tuition and fees. The school step up for student status has been verified in the EMA system and the students are now prepared for enrollment. Now that we have covered tuition and fees, let's review the enrollment process. The following must be true before you can begin enrolling students in EMA Completed School Profile with banking info and acceptance of terms and conditions created. To start a bulk student enrollment, click the Import Students button. A pop up will let you upload a CSV file with all award IDs. A template for the file is provided on the screen for your convenience. Please be sure the student award ID number is for the 20252026 school year. To enroll a student, locate and select them, then click Continue to access the enrollments, check the student's status to confirm eligibility. Only students with an awarded status can be enrolled. Enrollment is limited to ftc, feseo, and FESUA students only to prevent issues where families mistakenly provide their PEP Award ID which hinders schools enrollment. Once the student is displayed on the Enrollment Request screen, you have the option to either select each student individually or choose Enroll All Students to automatically select everyone listed. Students chosen during the enrollment will be visible in the enrollment form. You can set the student's start date, grade level, tuition schedule, and applicable discounts. The total should reflect the annual tuition liability even for mid year enrollments. Once you have filled in all the necessary information, simply click on the Send Enrollment Request option to forward the request to the parent. Don't forget to include the total annual tuition liability even if the child is enrolling halfway through the school year. To remove a student from this list, just click the red X and the student will be moved back to your enrollment request. Prior to sending the request to the parent, you will have one final opportunity to review it and ensure its accuracy.
