This is the thing that I like to embed inside every organization, and you can do this if you have absolutely no budget for training. Change people's assumptions, because everything we do and say is based on what we think, and what we think is based on our assumptions. The trouble with assumptions is nearly 100% of them are wrong, because any assumptions I make about you, Marc, are coming from my upbringing, my culture, my background, my education, and my experience. Anything that you perceive about me is being passed through the same filters, but your experiences, background, culture, upbringing, etc., aren't the same as mine. So, we naturally make assumptions about every single person that we meet, but the trouble is 99.9% of them are wrong. And then, when somebody does or says something, we don't like it because we pass it through our filters, we get upset. Yeah. And then, you get poof, and now I don't want to work with that person because they're difficult. So, if you challenge the assumptions that people make and try and embed useful, healthy, positive assumptions, It makes a massive difference, and I'm not kidding, it's an immediate change because then people go, well, hang on a minute, what assumptions am I making? And the next question is, what could I assume instead that's more helpful? It changes relationships in an instant. It's really interesting
