If we're focusing particularly on the mindset, like the LEAP mindset, start by being curious. Look around, see what you can learn. Take some time to learn about Canadian culture. Believe it or not, we do have a culture here, despite what many people, even politicians, might have said, that we're a post-nation state, right? Learn about that. Read. There are books that even talk about that and understanding, oh, okay, so this is how I think, and this is, you know, what my influences were, and, you know, because not necessarily just because I'm Canadian, but I'm Canadian, I grew up in Alberta, we had these experiences, and this informs the way I think. And then from there, then you can start to learn more about the cultures of, say, the people that you're interacting with the most. Ask them questions before, before it becomes a crisis situation. Show that interest. Get to, to learn that. Maybe set aside some, some time. To have those conversations, even encourage that amongst your people if they're from different cultures, to get beyond— and the easiest way, you know, start with some of the surface stuff. Like food can be a gateway into getting to some of that deeper stuff, right? And, you know, really tasty way to do it, of course, too.
