She's mad that she has to waste an hour and a half commuting in the morning to go and sit at her desk. She has to pay exorbitant parking fees only to be forced back into the predictable and normal office structure where frankly, she feels less productive. And then, she has to then at the end of the day get back in her car, commute another hour and a half back to her house in the evening. When I spoke with her, she felt that even though the employer had to trust them during COVID that now that they were allowed to come back to the office, that the employer didn't trust them now. She outlined how before COVID she worked hard to have and maintain a work-life balance. But since COVID she's migrated to work-life integration.
