The idea is that you, the owner, understand you're a professional. You are a pro league player in your own business. You know everything about it. But because you haven't taken the time to sit down and write it out into an easy-to-follow diagrammatic chart, nobody else does. And that's why the business relies on you. So the answer is very simple. Get somebody you trust. There has to be a relationship of trust. And some people never feel comfortable with trust, and so this is not recommended for you if you don't feel comfortable with trust. But if you feel comfortable with trust and you trust somebody, then the manager can come in and here's how it works. It's so simple. Okay, Mr. Manager or Mrs. Manager, it's your job to write out all those instructions and standards and everything. Interview the owner, learn it, you do the writing out. And what that does, first of all, the owner doesn't have to do it. But that's not the only reason. What happens is, is that trains the manager. The process of putting all the work instructions together and creating the manual trains the manager, gives the manager training in the business, right? And then the manager can use that to start training other people. And so that's how we bring the manager up to speed.
