Stress is inevitable and won't disappear by waiting for the next milestone. Mindfulness works like a surfboard, letting you ride the waves of stress rather than stop them. Speaker A notes that normal is just a setting on a dryer.
Can't stop the waves but you can learn how to surf.
I would just say again, and I said this earlier, but it really is something I want people to start to contemplate and embody. That stress in your life, there's no magic eraser for it. When my kids go to college or when we finally renovate the kitchen or when we get that new car, we always are kind of delaying our fulfillment and our happiness and our peace of mind for some future time. That it just doesn't exist. There's no magic eraser for stress, and mindfulness is included in that. But there are things you can do to dramatically increase your ability to manage that stress, to ride the waves of life. He says you can't stop the waves. That's the stress and the change of life. Can't stop the waves, but you can learn how to surf. And mindfulness to me is this simple, Data-based surfboard.
And it can help us.
Yeah, it can help us live happier, work happier, and really be unshakable. So resilient to stress and change.
I hate to break it to you folks, but normal is a setting on a dryer.
