You don't need thousands of followers to make real money. A business with 1,000 engaged followers can generate six figures in revenue. Focus on knowing your audience and building relationships, not buying followers or chasing vanity metrics.
So I've had clients or people who've reached out to me being like, maybe we should buy followers because that's going to give me more credibility and people will like want to work with me then. Or they think that I can't start selling or talking about my products because I only have 100 followers. And I'm like, no, that like both of those are completely misconceptions about using social media. What you want to do is really have a small, well, not necessarily, it doesn't have to always be small, but getting to build a community where you know your followers and you have like such a strong relationship with them that you could have 1,000 people following you and be making multi-six figures. And that is the case for a lot of businesses online.
