Marc Haine discusses how managers need to recognize employee personality types, from introverts to extroverts, to retain talent. He distinguishes between mindset shifts and tactical skill-building in employer-employee relationships, wishing more companies would adopt this approach.

A lot of people are somewhere in the middle on that spectrum. But a good manager has to understand that shift and know which of their people are which way. Just like you don't praise introverts the same way you praise extroverts. That's another spectrum and a different skill set that managers have to have. So, in the training, you need both the mindset shifting to get them to just think differently about retention and about the workforce and that relationship between the employer and employee. But then also, you need the skill building, which is the actual tactics and tools that you see a lot more of that training going on, to your point earlier, Marc, than you do the mindset shift. But we try to cover both. And I really wish more companies would make that leap.
