Marc Haine's company gives each employee a private office and production team members their own edit bay. He says this personal space creates pride and ownership, which leads to better work and stronger retention.
We allow every employee to decorate their own office. We have no cubicles. They are real offices. We have a big conference room. We eat lunch together. We have a big patio. We've got barbecues. So, when people come in, they have a sense of their own unique identity and pride in walking into an office that reflects the success that they have and they want to have. So for most companies, an expensive office is definitely an expense. Sure. And every, you know, member of our production team has their own edit bay, their own studio, and, and they own it. I mean, they make it feel that they— that's their space. And it definitely turns around, reflected in the quality of the product they put out.
