A Marissa Brennan YouTube monologue auditing a wedding-service business to improve bookings and profitability. The speaker reviews brand/signature style, ideal client clarity, website/Instagram/emails, and proposals; highlights a problematic inquiry form with four conflicting options that likely caused analysis paralysis and lost bookings, and advises providing one clear CTA (e.g., submit the inquiry form).
My clients were her email responses is exactly why she wasn't getting booked. But I did a stocky stock on her business, and that was the last reason why she actually wasn't getting more wedding bookings. Welcome back to Booked and Profitable, where I take one part of your business and I show you exactly how to make it booked and profitable. Here's what I looked at when I audited her business. I was looking at her signature style. If her ideal bride was clear. I looked at her website, her Instagram, her emails. I looked at her proposals so I could see what her packages and her pricing was. And one thing that really stood out to me was when I went over to her inquiry, inquiry form, specifically over on her website, which was like her contact page, there was four options to choose from. Yeah, I said four. On that one page, there was the option to fill out if I was a salon client for, like, cuts in color, if I was a bride, an option to choose if I wanted to book a phone call with, like, a separate email option. And there was also some text that said, I prefer for you to come in and we do something one on one in person. And when I read all of these, I was like, oh, my God, I don't know which one to choose. And as somebody totally biased, I was like, out. We think by giving our brides more options, we're making it easier for her, but we're actually creating analysis paralysis where she doesn't take any action at all on your inquiry form or on your contact page, on your website. Give her one clear action that you want her to take. If I had to choose, the one clear action that I would want my bride to take is just to fill out the inquiry form and I'll send her an email.
