Marissa Brennan shows how to create glam waves for bridal hair on naturally curly hair using Bellami silk seam extensions. The tutorial covers techniques to make the waves last and how to style them to suit different face shapes.
Let's style my bride together. Just wait until you see how perfect these glam waves go with her dress. It's just unreal. At her hair preview, she was actually undecided between doing a high bun or doing the glam waves. And I saw her dress and I said, absolutely, we're doing glam waves. For this dress, we're using 24 inch Bellamy silk seam extensions, which give her so much length and longevity for the day. When that TikTok bop comes on, we wanted to go for a softer glam wave, but when I'm working with long extensions past like 18 inches for them to hold with the amount of brushing I do, I still to use a 1 inch iron. She had some shorter layers in her hair, so here I am tucking in every little piece. Not on my watch, my friend. You are getting tucked away, spraying the hair underneath for longevity. For the front of my glam waves, I like to do it based off of my client's face shape. She wanted to do some height like a traditional glam wave, but I didn't want to overdo it to overwhelm her face. I still wanted to keep it nice and soft and romantic and pretty, filling out her hairline a little bit. And look at my bride. She's so gorgeous. Oh, my God.
