Is your favorite brand good or just good at marketing? Today I'm going to start a new series here, try something new. We're going to talk about certificates of analysis in the category, kind of what they are, what to look for, a deep dive into all of them. Uh, you know, no matter where you're getting the product, you should always take a look at these. They should be easy to find. Uh, so we're going to start high level today. What is it? What does it stand for and how do you get one as a brand? So it's a certificate of analysis, or otherwise known as a COA. They're issued by independent labs that you send, hopefully, every batch out to, like we do. So every batch that's made, you send off representative samples of that production. So you grab a few bottles, you send it off to the lab. There's a chain of custody so you know it's all legitimate. Um, the lab is independently verified, so totally separate from the brand, totally separate from the category, and they run a ton of tests on it, um, produce a document called a certificate of analysis, um, and send that back to the brand so they can post it, so they can give it to, to customers who ask questions about what's actually in the product, which is of vital importance. So that's kind of the quick overview. Tomorrow we'll dive into, to what the different sections are before the rest of the series over probably the next week, 7 days or something, looking at all the specific components of a COA. So drop a comment if you want any more info or you want me to take a look at anything from the brand that you currently try. See you tomorrow.
