Two performers at the ECU Motown Show 2009 dedicate a song and thank the crowd, including a specific mention of Bob Pauls. The exchange captures the warmth and community spirit of a live Motown performance.
We'd like to sing this song now to all of you, mainly Bob Pauls. How many people did come here for the first, uh, show? Thank you so, so much. And to all those who have gone on, we'd like to sing this out for them as well. All the children, all our elders, young people, it's going to happen to you.
You are so big. You're everything to me. So much joy and happiness.
You bring— yes, you bring to me now so much joy.
