3 Ways to get more from your Chatbot

Mark Simpson shows three ways to boost chatbot results: pair Facebook Messenger broadcasts with email to sidestep platform limits, use Messenger prompts to drive comments on high-engagement posts, and set up timed automated sequences at 1 hour, 24 hours, and 72 hours after someone subscribes.

My name is Mark Simpson and I'm from Boos Lee, and I'm currently in the stun in Bali. And I wanted to give you in this video three advanced chatbot techniques that you can be doing right now. So, number one, when you go into the broadcast and you're going to start out pushing in messages, Facebook are going to start getting really anal about the fact that you're going to be sending selling messages. So a really good way to get around this is combine a Facebook chatbot message with an email. So put together your sales email. Put together however you're going to structure it and send it out. Go straight to your chatbot, go to the broadcast section and send out a message to all of your subscribers that you've just sent out an email to. Go check your inbox, go check the junk and the spam just in case it's gone in there. But you've got somewhat special that you want to show them. Now, this is important because the push in itself, the broadcast push, the chatbot message, isn't selling directly selling, it's giving advice on where to go next. So by doing so, you're getting around the Facebook rules, but you're still able to put a sales message in front of your audience. And by sending out the email and then doing with the messenger, it's saying, hey, go over to emails. I've sent you some really important. They'll leave the chat box or go to the email inbox and and read the message. They know it's there. One real important thing to add on this is that at the bottom, just saying, hey, if you've not subscribed to my email list, here's the link to do so and just have it can sign up to the list. Number two, same rules apply, but do the same on your Facebook wall. So put a post together on Facebook, make it one of your best posts ever. You know, have a lot of engagement in it and, you know, make sure there's a question to be answered, et cetera, and then broadcast out a message to get to say, hey, we've just put a new post up on our Facebook wall. Go and check it out and please let us know when you've read it by comment below with a special word. And then in there from that, you can put a link to maybe go and make a purchase from you, go make a booking from you, or just to reach out to get more information. And the final one, the third, the tip that I'm going to give you today for advanced chatbot teckers, is set up an automated sequence. Now, this is kind of new to a lot of people, but when they subscribe to your list, when they subscribe to your chatbot, have an automated sequence going out. So the first message arrives an hour after they subscribed, the second message arrives 24 hours after they subscribed, and the third message arrives 72 hours after they're subscribed. And what this does is it's all automated so they can be welcomed into the chatbot. For example, with hospitalities, with hotels and rentals, for example, you can have someone subscribe to the list when they check into your property. And then there'll be an automated message that goes out 24 hours later just to welcome them, just to say, hey, have gone and checked out this. Have you seen this? Y and Z. And the cool thing about a chatbot, and with Facebook messenger, you can have it as written text or it could be a video message. So you can simply just hold up your phone, record a message, and that will then go out on the chatbot as a nice little video message. So it adds that personalization.
