This YouTube conversation (by Mark Simpson, uploaded Feb 22, 2024) explains how mentorship accelerates business growth. Speakers contrast two ways to 'pay the price' for progress—spending money to hire/learn from a mentor versus spending extra time learning alone—and recommend paying for mentors who are already at the next level to shorten the path to business milestones.
Then there's, like, a lot of things that can optimize your journey.
So you.
Either pay the price by paying someone to help you or paying it with the length of time it takes you to achieve what you want.
And it's weird, isn't it? Because as your business grows and as you get to, like, the next kind of step, when you analyze your business, you go, oh, hang on, I'm doing the same things every day, and I now want to get to the next step. Now, my go to, if I want to get to the next level of the business, my go to is, who can I pay, who's a mentor who's already at that next level, so they can quickly get me up to the next level. Because you start to realize that it's not, can you do it? Once you've got the mindset, you get some success, you know you can do it. It's just how quick I can do it and is it worth the effort? And that's why you need the next level of mentorship up, isn't it so.
