A short portion of a YouTube interview in which Speaker B strongly recommends Slack for inclusion in a tech stack and Speaker A prompts a plain-language definition. The clip centers on Slack's value for team communication and information-sharing across teams.
What would you recommend to people that you use within your tech stack that they should probably consider using in their tech stack if it's right for them?
Yeah, well, I absolutely adore Slack. I would be, I don't know where I'd be without it. It's been a wonderful way to communicate to all the teams in the ways that I need to and to obviously share information.
What is Slack for those who don't know? And yeah, what is Slack just so they know.
I guess it's like it's a channel manager within your organization that you can set up in ways to help with your workflow. And it could be as anything I can have. For instance, we care about the quality of our pool cleaning. And so every day we have our pool cleaning, they send an email, it gets zapped over to Slack, we're able to look at the quality of the pool clean.
