Short YouTube explainer (by Mark Simpson) describing "midterm space" — rental offerings targeted at busy professionals who need stays longer than short-term rentals but shorter than long-term leases. The speaker emphasizes lower turnover versus platforms like Airbnb and cites typical clinical assignment stays of about 90 days (roughly three months), giving hosts breathing room and more predictable occupancy.
Midterm space offers people that are busy professionals. You don't have to deal with the turnover that you would typically deal with with Airbnb, so you get that flexibility. You don't have to deal with the guests coming in and out. You get, you know, there for three months at a time. Typically, the average clinical stay is about 90 days when their assignments being taken place. So that alone gives you, like, breathing room. Like, okay, I can kind of chill out for the next 90 days or 60 days until we got to get another client again.
