I'm Lizzie. I'm Louise. My name's Jodie. I joined about a year ago and I joined because I was pretty much at the beginning of my business and I really wanted as much help as I could get with the marketing side of things and getting direct bookings.

We didn't really have any idea of the hospitality world. We're not in hospitality. We were running a successful apartment on Airbnb and booking.com but we wanted to increase our direct bookings.

I was an Airbnb host. I'm a super host. I have a successful business. I'm pretty much fully booked most days of the month. Why would I need to join the Boostly Academy? Well, I was really intrigued about getting direct bookings and learning how to get direct bookings because I was relying on Airbnb. But seeing that it is free and it. And it can do a lot of stuff for free is, is great. It's going to help so many startups and small businesses massively. And this is just the beginning. Okay, so this is what Google is about to do next. I watched this video and I, and I really wanted to play it to you.

Has not one, not two, but three amazing language models on the way and a bunch of other AI models that are state of the art in their respective fields like code and image generators. Google is about to kill ChatGPT and all the hype around it. Almost a week ago, Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, issued a quote red over ChatGPT's impact on Google's search engine business. And as for an army of AI developers to roll out products as soon as possible, ChatGPT just provoked the beast. Google is not gonna sit around and watch people calling their search engine outdated. While their AI model is actually several years ahead of OpenAI's GPT. GPT3 itself is based on Google's transformer architecture that they introduce online almost six years ago. If you thought for a second that Google is the one in trouble in the age of AI, let me just tell You, Google's AI is about to come out of the chrysalis after more than a decade of research and development. And when they come out, the world will never be the same again.

Okay, obviously very YouTubey, obviously very grabbing your attention and all that cool stuff, but it is very, very true. The data that Google has compared to open AI is, is massive. And so you right now learning about this, you right now figuring out what it is at this, at this early level, you are ahead of 99.9 of other people I've been messaging friends, peers this week who, who, who I feel like are some of the best in this industry. And I've said, oh, did you, have you been messing around with GPT? And I've just said, what's, what's, what's, what's a GPT? So you are so ahead of the game. It is crazy. And some of the tools that you have access to right now, I, I know for a fact so many people don't even know about. So keep it, no, no, keep it to yourself. Take advantage of the fact and put it into practice. You know, there is now no excuse to not have a blog. There's no excuse to not be posting something on social media every day. There's not an excuse to have empty boxes in your Airbnb description in the back end because. And there's no excuse to not have a website with, with decent, decent copy, you know, because it is, the tools are available and it's right there and you've got access to everything. And this is why I'd love doing this. Because instead you trying to shift through hours upon hours of YouTube videos trying to figure it out. We've been able to take it all and I've been able to show you it, how we can do it in our world, which is how we can be impacted right now, which is, which is awesome. It all begins with you and it all begins in not only you learning, but you going on the back of this and re educating your guests and your followers. Because Book Direct Day was Wednesday and Book Direct Day was fantastic. I loved it. But in all honesty, Book Direct Day should be every day, not just Wednesday, but Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. We should always be re educating our guest about the powers of booking direct and it begins and ends with you. So please don't use this week and then do nothing next week. Please make sure that you stick with it. Please make sure you actively implement and keep doing the training you have now got at your hands and your disposal. With GPT, a 24.7assistant, which is pretty cool and it's free and it doesn't complain, so take full advantage of it.
