A short tutorial by Mark Simpson demonstrating how to optimize Airbnb listings by focusing on two high-impact elements: the listing title and the photos. The speaker walks through an Airbnb search (example: Bali, Indonesia) and notes typical guest behaviors and common filter choices (homes, dates, guests, amenities like aircon and Wi‑Fi).

I am going to show you how to hack Airbnb to make your listing stand out from the crowd. Now, first things first. The most important thing that you need to do is you've got to crack two things. Number one, your title, and number two are your pictures. Now, let's just back up for one second and let's go into Airbnb. I'm going to do a search for Bali, Indonesia. Now, when a guest will do a search on Airbnb, this is the first thing that they see. They get a choice to choose between homes and experiences. And one day, I'm going to explain and show you what experience is all about. Now, to be perfectly honest, people won't scroll down this far, but you can see when you get down to a certain level, stay with a superhost, homes with Wi fi, homes with Internet. The most part, what people do say 70% of the time, they'll click on Bali, Indonesia, then they'll go straight into homes. What they'll then do is they'll be. They'll go through here to get their dates and models. So let's just do this for an example. I'm going to come from here to there, pop in the guests, and then they will go a little bit further, so to get them more filters. So, you know, what you'll normally find is that they'll get their beds in, they'll make sure that the amenities are all right. So if this is me, I'm always looking for aircon and I'm always looking for WI fi. And then they'll go through a few here, and then you'll click on show homes.
