I Did NOT Want To Record This - FAIL 🚀

Sam sa. All right. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, welcome and thank you so much for joining me back on the replay. Last night, for those of you that don't know, we did a 24 hour live stream clubhouse room and I, I did not get enough sleep, not enough sleep at all. And like I said in the title, I really did not want to do this, but I committed to showing up every Friday and document in the week that has been and sharing you and sharing your wins. And it's been an important week in the world of hospitality, so I, I really wanted to do this. You may notice the face looks a little different. That's because we've got a new camera. It's really weird for me because I'm normally used to looking into the webcam on my computer, but I've got a nice new fancy camera behind. We've got the blurred background and everything, so it's looking good. We're getting a nice little home office set up here, as you can see. So it means I don't have to go into the office which means the commute is a lot nicer. So welcome everybody to the week that was. Hi, Julian, how are you doing? There's been bookings this week. There's been a lot of bookings, there's been a lot of news. I know people around the world may have tons of bookings. I was speaking to somebody in Australia, she's been booked solidly for months, but for a lot of people that's not the case. So it's nice to be able to celebrate wins. It's nice to be able to celebrate bookings. And this week is dedicated to all of you hosts this week, all of you that have taken action. So for those of you that have been following me over the course of the last couple of days, you will know that we did something pretty crazy. We did a 24 hour clubhouse room that we managed to live stream. I managed to live stream for 14 hours straight and then the Internet got the better of me. There was works in the area that I discovered and it totally knocked out our WI fi. So we're out Internet. So I was able to jump in the car Got the boys from school, did all of that quick dinner, got down to the office and I was able to finish off there which, which was nice to do. We had about 400 people come through the, the live room over the course of 24 hours. There's tons of prizes, lots of amazing knowledge shared. You know, I want to give a massive thank you to people like Julie George and Ryan Clark and Liam Caroline and we had Sean, Rookie G. There was a Jay who's over in la. We've got Ron Robert Lindoff, there was Chris Mahn. There was so many amazing people who came in throughout the day. Vince from up listing. There's, there's so many cool people that came in and, and helped and passed on knowledge and it was really cool because we're people that hadn't even got started yet in hospitality but very started their journey. They were just about to get their first property which is really exciting. And then there were those that have been doing it, doing it for years and everybody was able to bounce ideas. I just want to give a real big shout out to one person, one individual who has just been a, a beacon of light over the course of the last few weeks, especially when things are just going a little bit crazy in the world of hospitality. This person has been able to just keep everybody positive which, which is amazing. So good. So I don't know if you can see this now on the screen. Girl, I just want to give a you a big shout out. So I asked the Boostly Academy members what has been your wins from the week And Gerd has came in and posted this and he's, he's been so positive, he's helped so many members of the Boostly Academy which is amazing. So it's been an awesome week, buzzing tonight on a high high with all the positive around Bruce Lee at the moment and, and I just want to echo that. So Ger, thank you for posting that up and again, thank you to so many, many Many people who are just helping hospitality owners get more bookings, get more direct bookings, which is what we're literally all about, all about the direct bookings. So, again, thank you very much for that. And so what has been the week that was. And this week has been quite a busy one. Another busy one, not busy, but just lots to do. There's loads of things going on behind the scene. I sort of teased it last week. We're doing something pretty, pretty crazy with Boostly websites. We're taking it to the next level. We're hiring developers and programmers to try and make life a whole lot easier and to make the website so much easier, better, faster, stronger than ever before. So tomorrow, I don't know if Tom watches these or not, but he's, he's the guy who helps me run the website business and he's, he's, he's, he's Mr. Tech, so he's doing a lot of the work and he's trying to explain to me on a daily basis. So my brain's been exploding what's been going on. But we're getting there, which is, which is the main thing. So this week was, was really one where I was just getting really focused for the weeks that are coming up. The clubhouse room was obviously a big part of that. I did a couple of phone call conversations about partnerships and things like that, which is, which is a big part of what I do now with Bruce Lee. Just trying to partner up other businesses to sort of help spread the word and some really interesting conversations there. And then we also did. We had Mr. Greg Dorban. So we've got Team Boostly members, Boost the Academy members. Greg came in and did a contractor masterclass. How to get contractor bookings, how to get business bookings, you know, how to look@booking.com slightly differently than most, how to look at your Google business listing slightly differently than most. And how to convert a OTA booking into a DIA booking, which is something that is fantastic and it's one that I don't think enough people maybe do, but the power of it is, is incredible. So again, it was another one that was awesome. And yeah, thank you, Liz, for saying how to, how to properly pronounce Go's name in the, in the, in the chat, which, which is awesome. So let's just bring a couple of people up and we'll just say hi. So Shirley's there in the audience and Julie's obviously there. Martin's tuning in from Slovenia. We've got Hadil and Scarborough. So, yeah, this camera, you know, I've had this now for about a week and I've been figuring out how to use it. I am not a camera person at all, but, but I've been watching, studying, learning, implementing, which is everything that I preach. So. So, yeah, really, really happy with it. So what is coming up? What is coming up? So the next couple of weeks are going to be pretty crazy. We've got, I've decided to do a free bit of training, free five day training. It's all going to be around social media, it's all going to be about emails, it's all going to be about direct bookings. I think now's a really important time to do it. We're going to run it from the 8th to the 12th. So everybody in England, anybody that's got kids, we'll get the kids off to school and we'll do this five day free training and we'll be, we'll really, we'll try and ramp up your social media, your emails and just try and really get hard to get some booking. But that's pretty much going to be my core focus the next couple of weeks is getting that up and running and live. I've actually got a couple of podcasts to do next week, which is awesome and a couple of other little things, but the most part it's going to be getting ready for this challenge.
