Why did you want to now feel like this is the time to sort of stop being just on the Airbnb land and trying to build out your own direct booking platform?
So I try to do my best to not get so scope blocked and look at the big picture. And right now the big picture is telling me that Airbnb is getting to a place where they are going to start demanding higher commissions. I also saw a lot of risk in my entire business relying on one platform. And then I thought, why pay Airbnb when I could be doing all the things that they're doing for me on my own while building a brand for myself?
