Here you go. One minute of me, how I got started in hospitality. I think hospitality was like staring me right at the face. I just wasn't paying attention my whole life. My great aunt actually owned a motel on the Las Vegas strip. It was called the Pollyanna Motel. Really cool. It was next to the welcome to the fabulous Las Vegas sign. Motel is no longer there. But I always thought that was really cool. I would brag about it as a kid. I don't think any kid really paid attention to me or thought I was telling the truth, but. And even as an adult, I would stay in all these cool short term rentals near national parks. For some reason, it's still not registering to me that this is a really sound investment. I start growing my real estate portfolio, working tons of overtime, getting taxed a lot. And my CPA says, hey, you should consider buying a short term rental. You'll get a nice tax break and make a little bit extra money. So August of 2020, I buy my first short term rental in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, near the Great Smoky Mountains national park. And rocking out ever since. And we're not paying anything in taxes anymore. So there you go.
