Hi, my name is Lorraine Woodward and I'm founder and CEO of Becoming Rentable. Disability has been a way of life for me. My two boys and I have muscular dystrophy and vacations were nearly impossible. So I built a beach house with a rental unit. In 2021 I created becoming Rentable. I had to. Nobody else was. The demand for our rental unit has been outstanding with over 300 families enjoying our space. Now imagine driving two and a half days to find an accessible property or a 16 year old's excitement that they could take a shower for the first time on vacation. Then there's our Texas family. It took them 28 years to find an accessible place to stay. This is unacceptable in 2022. It should not be this hard to find an accessible short term rental. Becoming Rentable is committed to bringing growth and opportunity to the STR industry.
