A short YouTube interview (April 1, 2023) in which Nicole recounts why and how she entered the hospitality sector by joining a startup focused on home-sharing/Airbnb rentals. She explains she sought faster results and creative work, and began managing short-term holiday lettings for people away on extended trips.
Take us back into how you got into hospitality. How did you get started? How did you catch the hospitality bug?
When I did this, I was kind of bored because you have projects for long times but no results. So you work and work and work. And I was looking for something where I can have more fun and be more creative and have fast results. So I ended up in a startup company and they were active in the field of home sharing. So it was the classic Airbnb rentals. They go to holidays for three weeks, and at this time, we rent the apartments for them.
