Mark Simpson explains using Hostfully (a property management software) as the central hub for a vacation rental business: store business data and workflows in Hostfully, connect it to Airbnb and VRBO, and build direct bookings from that base. He emphasizes establishing foundations and structures even from the first property to enable growth.
If you get that property management software tool, let's just say hostfully, and you've got hostfully as the main core place for you to store your business. That's the hub. The hub is hostfully. And then you connect it to your Airbnb, you connect it to your vrbo, and that is the base of where you build your direct bookings. And it's all built from that project management software. So for me, if even at Property one, you've got to be put in the foundations and the structures in place to be able to grow and build this business.
